And it is a bit wide - again about 1/4inch wider than most wallets - to make room for the zipper, I guess. Speaking of the zipper, it is like one might find on a pair of blue jeans - versus a zipper with finer and more numerous teeth.My prior "wallet" was a zippered compact camera case. I liked it a lot. It was just a tad larger than a credit card and just wide enough to handle the cards I had. It easily slipped in and out of my pocket. So, getting use to a larger wallet will take a bit getting used to.That aside, the wallet is well constructed. It has ample slots and spaces to organize things. It is exactly what I wanted - less the extra 1/4 on the dimensions. I have had it only for five days. Each day I use it, I become more glad I bought it.It definitely is a keeper. The zipper on this one, however, was improperly sewn and missing the end stops.
