These beans were fresh and just roasted a month before delivery. I'm quite happy with the quantity and quality. The espresso roast is my favorite, it's a medium roast that grinds in my burr grinder with ease. I've used it for pour-overs and previously espresso in my breville. It makes a great standard cup. I've had an issue with finding beans that taste like coffee without the fruity/winey notes that I'm finding with many coffees. I like my coffee to taste rich and more on the savory side, I add some cane sugar or maple syrup for sweetening. Occasionally I'll make a latte. Sometimes I drink it black. This roast has been consistently good, and I like the 100% Arabica beans. Will most likely order again as it's reliable and my coffee comes out decent even in different brew styles, and the value is really unmatched.

I tried the Lavazza Espresso Italiano Whole Bean Coffee, and while it's smooth, it lacks the boldness I was hoping for in an espresso blend. The medium roast is pleasant enough, but it just doesn’t have that rich, strong flavor I typically expect from espresso.The quality is good, and the beans are fresh, but if you’re looking for something with a more robust kick, this might not be it. It’s decent for a lighter coffee, but not quite what I was hoping for in an espresso blend.

I got this not ever having it before, I also couldn't figure out why it was SO expensive, but when the bag came in it was HUGE!! But also, it works PERFECTLY for the Espresso machine I got. So if your getting an espresso machine and don't know what to get for coffee, THIS is the one to try 1st, it's the PERFECT roast for espresso shots, the caffeine content is STRONG! I LOVE it!! And the Espresso machine brings the beans for you, so it's REALLY easy to use! This bag is SO big that when I filled the espresso machine I still had to put the rest of the beans into 2 other containers. Unfortunately there was no seal on it to lock it but I figured out something better.

This coffee is a must! It is rich and full bodied with no bitterness. One of the things I look forward to is to open the bag and be overcome withe the aroma! It is scrumptious! I keep the bag in the freezer between grinding and filling up a can. It lasts around a month for me and I drink 2-3 cups a day.! I look forward to waking up and starting my day right!

I got this originally when I was doing research to look for mold free coffee. I am so glad I found this brand! It has become the new morning staple and I honestly am so sad when I have a bad cup of coffee now all becuase of this one. The flavor is great and the price point is amazing
