Won “Best Dressed” at a 1920s murder mystery dinner. I didn’t use the headband in the set, as it was too tight, used a different head piece. Dress fit great, very comfortable, not heavy material. Would highly recommend.

The outfit is beautiful, fits nicely. The excesaries is also very nice. The gloves is horrible, looks like a man's hand. Lots of extra material on the inside that I had to cut off in order to use it. The fit of the gloves is not good.

I was so impressed with the quality of this dress! It’s definitely not one of those cheap, one-time-use costumes you buy just for a party. I was searching for a dress to wear for an upcoming figure skating performance that wouldn't break the bank, and while this dress didn't quite work for that particular purpose (which I’ll explain in a moment), it still turned out to be a wonderful costume set that I’m really happy with.As a regular costume, this set is absolutely fantastic! For the price, you really get a lot of value—this set includes a cute dress, a necklace, earrings, a headpiece, and gloves. The dress itself is well-crafted, with thoughtful beaded detailing and fringe that add an extra flair to the design. The craftsmanship is impressive, especially considering the affordable price tag. The fringe moves beautifully, and the beading adds just the right amount of sparkle to make the dress stand out without being too over-the-top.The accessories, while not the highest quality, are still perfectly functional and add a nice touch to the overall look. The necklace and earrings are simple yet elegant, and the headpiece is a lovely addition that ties everything together. The gloves, while not the most durable, are still a great addition and serve their purpose for an event or costume party.Now, my only real issue with this set lies in the fit of the dress itself. I'm usually a size L-XL, so I ordered the XL, and it did fit my frame well overall (for reference, I'm 5'2" and 170 lbs with a curvy, athletic build). The dress is flattering and comfortable in most areas, but I found that the underlayer didn’t fit as well as I hoped. It tends to ride up a bit, especially if you have any curves on the bottom half of your body, which can be a bit awkward. This would definitely be fine for a regular setting, like a costume party or formal event where you're not moving around too much. However, for more active occasions like dance or figure skating, it just doesn’t offer the level of comfort or flexibility I’d need for those types of performances.That said, for anything other than intense movement, this dress is perfect. It’s a beautiful, budget-friendly option for a variety of occasions. Whether you're attending a themed party, formal celebration, or just want to add something fun to your wardrobe, this costume set is a great choice. I’m still very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and affordable costume!

I'm impressed. This dress is considerably better than I expected. As a Gatsby-themed event dress, it's quite nice. Here's what I like:**So Much Beading & Sequins Galore -- The beads & sequins are everywhere, even dotting the neckline. There are so many beads that the dress has some heft to it in your hand.**Beads and Sequins Sewn on?? -- I don't know if the beads and sequins were sewn onto some kind of fabric ribbon that was then affixed to the dress or if they are individually sewn to the dress, but you can see the threading. I was expecting them to be glued-on at this price point.**Two-Layer, Lining Good -- The lining layer is a thin mesh but it does the job of ensuring the dress isn't see-through and that it lies smooth on your body. Also prevents the beads from feeling scratchy on your skin.**Stretches for Comfort -- The dress stretches for a nice fit on a variety of body shapes and sizes.**Styling Authentic 1920s -- The details and fringe combine to make this a realistic flapper dress.**Love the Beaded Sleeves -- Adds an extra element of flair. I noticed that YESSA also offers a similar version that's sleeveless.**Accessories Complete the Look -- I like the headpiece the best. The fingers of the gloves fit my small hands. The length of the gloves is long on me but they look fine bunching slightly at the bend of my elbow. I turned the gloves inside out and carefully trimmed away some of the excess fabric at the fingertips for a smoother fit. The rest of the pieces are just okay. But then again, I wasn't expecting much from plastic pearls and the other costume accessories.What Could Be Better--Length on Petite -- Asking a lot, I realize. I'm petite and wish the dress came in a petite size that isn't quite so long. It's fine as is. I might end up trimming the bottom fringe a couple inches before wearing it to an upcoming event. It's not horribly long but as is, would look better on a woman taller than me (5'2).The instructions say the dress can be hand washed. I think I will try spot cleaning before wetting the entire dress.I haven't worn this dress to an event yet and can't comment on durability, except to say that not a single sequin or bead was rolling loose in the packaging when I unboxed this dress. I think that says a lot about potential durability. If this had been a typical Halloween-grade costume, glued-on beads would likely be rolling all over the place.Recommended.
