Definitely a new generation of shave gel product -- maybe the formula is the same as the old orange cap one, but the packaging on this one is a lot nicer. The can isn't that shiny metal so it's easier to hold on to if your hands are slightly wet. Then there is a window for you to see how much you actually have left inside, instead of shaking it up and down constantly and then guessing how many days you have left. It claims that the can is now rust-free, which has to be pretty cool because the old cans just felt like they were about to rot away by the end. The actual shave gel is nice, it works, does the job. But the new packaging is the real winner.

Bought this the same time I did the razors. So smooth and nice feeling on my face. Leaves no razor bumps, nicks or scratches. Helps my face and moisturizes at the same time. Good quality.

This works pretty well! I've purchased this more than once and have no reason to switch to another product. Be careful when dispensing it though. It can seem like you haven't got enough in the palm of your hand but by the time you have it on your face, you realize you actually took too much and you end up wasting the extra.

typically I squeeze out a dollop around the size of a quarter which ends up being way more than I need. The gel foams up really big so be careful how much you use. Gives me a decent shave, pleasant scent that isn’t over powering. Skin isn’t left feeling any dryer or greasy than before. Good value for the price.

This is the best shaving gel I have found. Very soothing for sensitive skin and gives a comfortable shave. Amazon has a good price for the product.

I’m impressed with the additional detail given by the manufacturer to this particular packaging option. I get that it may not be for everyone. Here’s why I like it:1. No lid with which to keep up2. The can is sealed top to bottom so that the base could never rust, discolor, or transfer paint from a wet can to the wet ledge, etc., this is attention to detail. We’ll done!3. Price is a little more but I like the peace of mind with this packaging.
