Great addition to the garden landscape: it looks even better than its picture. This is no tin decoration that the first gust of wind will carry away. Rather it is sturdy and substanial allowing it to remain in place and weather the storms. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I purchased the sundial a few years back as an anniversary gift, thinking a pedestal couldn't be so difficult to match...wrong. The pedestal is very nice, heavy, and sturdy, but no it does not match our sundial. The pedestal has one rather large screw thread on top which you would thread your attachment to. It was what we wanted for looks, but finding a pedestal that fit seemed almost impossible. I was able to locate a local metal worker who enlarged the center hole on our sundial to fit the thread on the pedestal for $20. On a side note, the sundial is aluminum, the pedestal is iron meaning it cannot be directly soldered.I'd suggest asking the seller for photos of the pedestal top showing the screw along with measurements of the screw to ensure fit to your top object.Very happy with the final product after a bit of work.

No dislikes. Part of sundial I gifted a family member with. They said it was easy to use and lovely.

The pedestal is very sturdy and as described, however, this was ordered with the George Washington sundial as a set. Amazon listed that these two items fired together, they don't. We called the company and they stated that they definitely do not go together. They did give a few suggestions as how to modify the pedestal. Now this is the process my husband will be trying. Not real happy with how Amazon advertised this item.

Sturdy, pretty and works well with bird bath

i ordered this product expecting a sundial on a pedestal base,rather than a sundial which is on the ground.I believe that the seller should show a picture of the base by itself with out a sundial perched on top. The base is all that comes with this order. Extrememly deceptive picture.

I bought this for my husband as our 1 year anniversary gift. It's an alternative to other clocks out there and looks really cute in our garden. We haven't set it to the sun yet, but definitely want to. Our house has a lot of shade, so I'd recommend it somewhere with a lot of sun.
