Google WiFi Wall Mount - 3 Pack, Accessories for WiFi System & Router (White)

Purchased, and in use since late 2019, the original white "puck-shaped" Google wifi devices.This is NOT a review or comment on the Google Nest device.I truly have negligible skills and the patience for functioning in the modern digital world. Nevertheless quickly managed to install and instantly use the device. Placed the primary device unit on the first floor of my 1,700 sq ft, two-story townhouse. A second point is placed on the second floor. Solved and have remained solved all the weak wifi streaming issues. My neighbor was impressed and purchased the same Google devices. He found a "better" damaged box deal from a non-Amazon vendor. Several attempts at set-up failed. A phone call to Google support determined the device's software update was required. Support helpfully walked us through the process. Immediate success.All software updates are automatic and seamless. However, last year we did undertake the recommended Google wifi device app switch. Requires a change from the original Google wifi app to the new Google Home app. Again an easy, no frustrations undertaking.It is paramount to start with the bleeding obvious first step for device set-up ...... download and install the Google app on your cell phone. Then follow the easy-to-understand prompts. This review is dated April 2022 and both my neighbor and I remain totally satisfied with the performance.

I don't usually leave Amazon reviews, as I either don't make the time, or don't feel strongly enough about the product to do. In this case though, I'm doin' it! I was thoroughly impressed by the design and utility of this wall mount. Having three of the four Google Wi-Fi Routers I'd just purchased sitting on the floor in the corners of my house near their respective outlets was a pretty inelegant solution, so I looked for - and found - these the next day (and got them soon thereafter thanks to Prime!) They look good, work perfectly and, importantly, don't appear to put too much strain on the sockets themselves. Being able to coil the adapter cable around the inside of the holder was pretty ingenious (note to others, there's enough room to coil them twice within the grooves. I hadn't noticed that at first, so was thinking I still had leftover cable to tuck beneath.) My Wi-Fi is stronger than it has been, thanks to the Google routers, but that they look good/better doing it, is largely thanks to these mounts, so thanks and great job, AmorTek. I wish your team the best!

I don't write many reviews. I only write reviews once I have used a product for sometime (6 months or more). The google meshes are very good. They have never lost connection and my streaming of Netflix, Hulu, Cable and so one have been fast with little to no lag. I have 2 mesh points in my 1200 sq foot home and have no connection issues at all. I know they say one mesh can cover 1500 sq feet but I was only getting a mild signal with one. With 2 I get excellent signal. I have 8 phone (6 people), 4 TVs, roku, fire stick, blue ray disc player with wifi, surround sound with wifi and it all works with no issues. I know that is much to do with how much your mpbs you have but still great product. The APP is easy to use and can provide me with option for guests and if I really want to block time out for my children not to be able to get online after a certain time. over all a really strong product from google.

Don't put this all together until after you activate your google wifi access points. It is kind of a pain to pull it out to scan the backs :PIt is large and bulky around the outlet and my wife hates the one we have in our dining room (perfect positioning, but out in the open so it doesn't look great). But it's a nice self-contained way to keep the google wifi and the bulk issues are more due to the size of the google wifi than the mounts. I could wrap the wire around a couple times in each tack on the back and just enough space to allow for the ethernet cables to get in there. I think the plug in part should have some sort of snap-into-place mechanism which might make it a bit more stable against the outlet. But it works fine, and does what is expected. It seems to hang in place so the looseness of the plug isn't too much of an issue - just difficult if trying to remove the google wifi access point from the mount without unplugging it.

This is an absolute life saver of a product. I don't have much shelf space in my home, and nothing I would want to dedicate to three wifi access points long term. Before making the purchase, I was worried that as third party products, the wall mounts might not fit the wifi points well, or that the weight of the points might cause the frame to sag and pull everything out of the wall. This is not the case: both the plug holder and the circular access point mount fit like a dream: tight and sturdy but not at all hard to install. The frame is strong enough that the weight of the access point doesn't pull the entire thing out of the wall, and the point can even stay attached with a small bump such as an overly excited dog's tail wagging. The cord organizer is a dream to use: each of the three circles is deep enough to hold two loops of cord, which allows you to pack the entire cord away, or leave as much loose as you prefer. All in all, I highly recommend this wall mount system. It's splendid.
