A new must !
I wish all the books about the period were of that standard : Casemate Publishing house and their French military historian have succeeded in both piling highly synthetic informative texts and high quality photographs, not to mention the tank profiles, in a relatively small book. I'm looking forward to acquiring his second volume about the battle of Normandy. This book is definitely worth some financial sacrifice for the readers who would be still hesitating . Recommended.

Has some novel observations concerning the initial clashes in June 1944. Interesting comments on Villiers-Bocage and it's aftermath. Quick and well written.
