I’ve started making homemade yogurt to keep my food shopping bills down. This item really helps to turn the yogurt into thick Greek style yogurt! It’s really well made and easy to clean.

Very useful and easy to use

Bit fiddly to make your cheese etc, but thats not due to this little gadget, as this does the trick. Its all that messing around with making yogurt etc. Very rewarding when you do though

Owned a basic yoghurt maker for a while and kinda got put off by watery results. This strainer has totally transformed my yoghurt! It turns an edible but watery yogurt into a thick, creamy delight! It is a little costly but it'll more than pay for itself in a matter of months:)

Since becomming vegan i really missed soft cheese as the ones you can buy are very high in fat and not pleasant. I read about making yogurt cheese online and decided to try with soya yogurt. I just use tesco plain soya yogurt and put in in the cusipro, leave for 24 hours in the fridge and you get an amazing soft cheese yogurt. Ive mixed in chives and parsley for a Boursin style and sweetener to make cheesecake. Use this every day.

Der Frischkäse-Zubereiter funktioniert super, super gut! Es passen circa 600 ml in das Sieb und ungefähr die Hälfte an „Material“ ist nach dem Filtern noch übrig. Ich benutze das Sieb zur Herstellung von griechischem Joghurt. Die Menge reicht für zwei Portionen Nachtisch - super-lecker! Der erste Frischkäsebereiter, den ich geliefert bekam, war leider an der einen Nahtstelle nicht gut verklebt und musste zurückgehen. Die Ersatzlieferung kam extrem schnell und das Nachfolgeprodukt war perfekt. Vielen Dank auch für den guten Service! Das Sieb ist stabil und sehr leicht zu reinigen. Einfach umdrehen und unter heißem Wasser abspülen. Auch geeignet für die Spülmaschine, habe ich aber noch gar nicht benutzt. Die Größe ist für meine Bedürfnisse perfekt und der Behälter ist nicht allzu groß und handlich. Auch praktisch, dass ein Deckel dabei ist. Das macht die Sache hygienischer. Ich komme damit viel viel besser zurecht als mit den üblichen Mulltüchern, Stoffsieben etc. Da finde ich das Reinigen immer ziemlich eklig. Alles in allem 100 % zu empfehlen.

I have used this on my homemade yogurt and it works remarkably well. I put the yogurt in it the late afternoon, pour off the whey before bed (because a lot of whey comes off and soon the mesh is sitting in whey) and then leave it overnight. The next morning I have a nice thick result the consistency of cream cheese and more whey on the bottom. This container is a bit delicate. The metal mesh can be wrecked if you're not gentle. I rinse it carefully and use a plastic dish brush to clean it. Because I read it can rust in other reviews, I then pour boiling water over it, towel dry it, and let it sit open to the air in order to dry completely before putting it away. So far so good, no rust. If you want a less thick consistency (like Greek or Balkan yogurt) , then I suggest you not leave it overnight.

I bought this to make a yogurt cream cheese from my homemade soy yogurt. It works great. Would love to see a larger size, but extremely happy with this. Very easy to use and to clean.
