When I got the Peakworks ropes, at every fold seemed loose and the twine was untwisting. When I used it for the first time and only time, I couldnt get my lanyard to go by the loose parts without forcing it or removing my lanyard connector and moving it about the looseness, and within a few hours, the rope was begining to fray and was unsafe. I bought both the 25 foot and the 50 foot, both are POS. I didnt find out that they were POS until the return window had closed for amazon. I am going to vet ahold of the manufacturer and see what they will do. If they are good I'll update the review, if not then what you see is what you get from this review!! The rest of the rope was frayed with line filaments protruding everywhere making the rope "fuzzy". My wife did not want me falling a flight if I happened to slip or lose my balance. There is a very heavy clip on one end. There is no clip on the other. That did not make any difference to me. I just tied it off at the top of the stairs and was good to go. When you are done with whatever you buy it for, put it in your car or truck and use it as a tow rope.
