I am so happy with this. My 5 year old has to patch, he can't stand the stickers, he completely refused. He is much happier to wear this. It covers one eye perfectly and it meets his face so there is no chance of him peeking round it. Thank you ☺️

I don't know who designed these but they have literally saved me a whole heap of stress. My son was prescribed eye patches before Christmas but the very first patch wearing session he screamed himself into a real panic when we tried to remove the patch. He has sensory issues and he cannot tolerate the removal of a plaster on his arm let alone over an eye. After the first night it was obvious that we just could not face that every single evening, the distress it would cause would be too much, he is 5. I found these on Amazon and thought I would give them a try. They arrived within 24 hours of ordering them and he was keen to wear them straight away. We have no tears or anxiety and he is far happier. The patch slides easily over the glasses meaning that the teacher can take it off when needed without a fuss. He has even learnt to take it off himself at playtime. The patch seems to cover the whole eye mimicking the sticky patch pretty well. Whether this will work remains to be seen but 3 weeks in and he is still happy to wear them.We originally purchased 2, one to keep in his school bag and one as a spare. I would recommend this as it was left at school over Christmas and the spare came in handy. The aeroplane design is lovely and we are looking at finding some different designs for him so that he has more choice and control over making his eyes better.

Do not buy unless your child has ridiculously small glasses.Poor design. Too small to fit normal glasses. I had to remove the top part and stitch elastic. Too much hassle.

Bis mich ein Bekannter darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat, wusste ich erst garnicht, dass es sowas gibt. Wenn ich nach Augenklappe gesucht habe, hab ich immer nur diese Piratenklappen gefunden, die mittels Gummiband (um den Kopf) direkt aufs Auge gelegt werden.Mein Sohnemann kommt mit den Pflastern zwar ganz gut klar aber erstens schwitzt er darunter wie blöde oder wenn er mal weint, is auch alles nass, sodass man die Pflaster dann auswringen kann. Einfach nur bääää.Außerdem halte ich absolut nichts von dieser Verschwendung, jeden Tag mindestens 2 Pflaster zu verbraten und dass im schlimmsten Fall bis er 6 Jahre alt ist, das macht mind. 600 Pflaster im Jahr mal 3 ... kann sich jeder selbst ausrechnen -.-Diese Klappe jedenfalls erfüllt völlig ihren Zweck und wird von unserem Kleinen auch gut akzeptiert.Das Design ist schlicht aber dennoch ganz schick.Einzig zwei kleine Punkte, die Klappe ich bauform-bedingt natürlich etwas klobiger als ein Pflaster und fällt somit noch deutlicher auf, als ein Pflaster ... aber gut, das lässt sich nunmal nicht verhindern.Und die innere Stofflage hätte beim Nasenbügel etwas kürzer sein müssen. Leider drückt der Nasenbügel die Klappe etwas nach außen, sodass bei der Nase ein Spalt entsteht. Wäre in der Innenlage dort etwas Stoff ausgesprart gewesen, würde die Klappe perfekt abschließen.Alles in allem aber noch 5 Sterne von mir.

Ich habe diese Augenklappe für meinen 5 jährigen Sohn gekauft. Es ist eine super Alternative zu den klebe pads, die er absolut nicht mochte und benutzen wollte !
