Smooth, good quality, sounds great
Love this balisong, I love the weight distribution and the durability, Nabalis does a great job with their trainers and this one is a favorite of mine. I have many others but I always come back to this one and love it more and more each time. The grip is fantastic with the cutouts, and the weight is great for beginners and intermediate balisong hobbyists. Its a great price for what you get, comes super fast, and I have no complaints whatsoever, Very drop safe, though I cant say the same for your floors.

20/5, My All-Time Favorite Bali, has reinvigorated my interest in flipping
I will write more details later but just wanted to say; I've got Balisongs approaching $1k. I've been on a tear recently buying a lot of sub-$40.00 knives, and continue to be floored by the quality and value you can get for under $40.00Particularly when it comes to Balisongs, I'm extremely picky, and we have that luxury; the bali market / community has positively exploded over the past ~10+ years and there are thousands, if not tens of thousands of options. Many hand-made in very small batches, producing exquisite balisongs that are absolutely amazing to flip.I own around 30+ balis and have flipped a ton more than that, so I can confidently say that this Nabalis Canyon is positively sublime. It's amazing. I absolutely love it. It has become my new favorite balisong, hands down.At first, I was a little dismayed & disappointed by the heavier than anticipated weight & how quiet it was. One of my favorite things about balis are the sounds; the crispy click-clack; the musical wind chime, etc. The Canyon is very quiet. However, the more I played with this, the more I grew to love it. What I thought were the 2 biggest negatives, actually ended up becoming my favorite aspects of this Nabalis Canyon!I actually flip better now because it is heavier; my fingers & hands feel stronger - literally like I'm exercising them with heavier weights - hey, an oz or two is a lot for your fingers! And the fact it's so quiet means I can flip it at work, while on the phone, which I can NOT do with the vast majority of my other balis!!! Trust me; I've tried. :-\ People can always hear the lovely, but prominent sounds in the background. Not so with the Canyon. In fact, I purposely seek out & buy the loudest, most wind chime-y, click-clackiest balis I can. I love it! The sounds are just delightful. So, I was initially disappointed with how quiet the Canyon is.....again; until I realized that means I can flip it more places, more often! Including at work & on the phone / zoom!Again; I'll try to write more later, but the overall point is this Nabalis Canyon has become my absolute favorite balisong. I love it so much I went to their site & bought the Cheese - which is also amazing - and another Canyon with the actual blade with false edge (unsharpened). They really, truly hit it out of the park with the Canyon. and for $40.00...... I don't understand. I don't get how they can make a decent profit, but hey....keep doing what you are doing, Nabalis, because this thing is almost as joyous to flip as my $8-900 customs....... Almost....

Perfect size, weight, balance
I had just ordered about 7 Balisong trainers to find one that is both good quality AND has more handle bias, and this is it! I just ordered the Trident, which is good, but kinda light and doesn't swing as much. This one is even better AND more than half the price. Absolutely a good value. Super smooth flipping. Absolutely recommend for beginners. Nice twangy sound too it as well.

For $40 this is the best trainer ive ever felt. Its pretty much on par with with more expensive balisongs. To me it’s probably on par and possibly better than the steel Kershaw Lucha. The Canyon is lighter and more nimble feeling. It doesnt bash your knuckles like a heavier steel balisong (especially ones on bearings). It feels really nice because of the chamfering and speed channels. Its slightly thinner than I imagined but in a good way. They really got the balance and feel down. Best stainless steel balisong ive tried.Tolerances out of the box were very good. No tap and little play. Id consider the tolerances amazing for $40 and very good for any price point.Comes with a cool box and extra hardware, lube, blue threadlocker, and even the torx bit. Very very nice attention to detail. If you are looking for a beater balisong to practice and you dont want to spend a ton of money or waste money on cheap crap buy this immediately. You will 100% not regret this. Ive had tons of balisongs hundreds of dollars more expensive and this $40 trainer is imo incredible for the price.

Nabalis ❤️
Great trainer! Possibly a bit heavy for some people. However, the weight helps carry the momentum. The Canyon and Impulse (if you like a lighter flipper) are both amazing balisongs that are super affordable!
