For many years now, I am trying my best to avoid buying anything made in China, for various reasons. The current global health crisis is certainly not going to change this habit. So imagine my disappointment, when I unpacked this sweeper. My fault, I guess. Never assume anything but check and double check, always. This sweeper is not metal, like the Rotary, and it is made in China. The Rotary is made in Germany. It does seem to work, even though it feels a lot less sturdy and makes a horrible noice on hard floors. I got it at a reduced price.
