Just this morning I noticed a rotten egg smell when I opened my bottle that is still good until November. Not sure if they always have this odor?

That is normal! I take an NAC supplement that is only 600mg and it smells like sulfur right after opening as well. So no reason to be concerned.

is the source vegan? (not asking about capsule or tablet but about NAC)

I do not know, but I am recently diagnosed with COPD and this seems to help me breathe easier.

The "other ingredients" (other than NAC) are "cellulose (capsule), stearates (vegetable source), microcrystalline cellulose." My doctor recommended this brand as a good one because they don't use a lot of fillers or other questionable ingredients.

Great NAC!

I chose this NAC because it contained 900mg N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine. Most other brands only contain 600 mg NAC. There are 120 servings in each bottle from Designs for Health making this a real value for the money.
