Used it the day after I received it, made the job easier, great bit of kit

I read all the reviews and quite honestly feel those who say anything negative about this product are not professional laminate fitters or forget how much a professional laminate fitter costs.I am one who knows the fitting costs involved.Its a very good product that has helped me time and time and time again.It is not meant to be life lasting otherwise the tapping block would be made of more durable materials.

Used it tap in pvc bathroom cladding panels. Great for the job.

Wood it quite hard and damaged the edge of laminate, metal band on the end dents if you use a claw hammer to tap in boad and not hitting very hard

Not the happiest on the performance of this tool,As a professional craftsman working daily with similar product, this lasted me a day before being unusable, damages and splinted on the non impact edge.A nylon knocking bar is a much higher performing tool for this application.

This is a fantastic product. I have previously used the plastic blocks to fit laminate, but this is far superior and really strong. Great buy, highly recommend

Does the job, sturdy enough for my flooring install however I cannot comment too much on its longevity as my flooring did not require much pressure to connect. I know I have read reviews of other people using similar blocks (which don’t have the metal end like this one) and that the wood fell apart from successive mallet strikes due to the high pressure they needed. I suspect this one would fair far better. I will be keeping it for future use, feels well made :)

Needs to be a bit thicker. Basically have to skim hammer low over laminate to whack it....putting flooring and thumbs (as I found to my cost) at risk from imperfect aim.

Outil indispensable pour poser facilement un parquet flottant. Le bois est résistant et la partie métallique permet une frappe sèche sans endommager le bois. Mieux vaut utiliser un marteau plus léger (nylon) et frapper par coups secs qu'un marteau lourd qui abimerait rapidement cette partie en métal.Outil recommandé.

Achetée pour poser du parquet flottant, elle s'est révélée bien utile voir indispensable. Contrairement à certains avis, j'ai trouvé qu'elle est solide si l'on s'en sert en la positionnant convenablement. Elle est comme neuve malgré une utilisation "intense".
