First, I own a 2002 Jeep TJ and YES, it FIT! No it does not have a cut-out for your rear view mirror, BUT you don’t need the cut-out. Just work with the fabric and it will work for you. It doesn’t take rocket science. 2nd, I’ll say this, yes it did have a smell BUT sensibility said, “Air It OUT”. I unfolded it completely and draped it over a chair over night and guess what, no more smell. Easy-Peasy! 3rd, folding it to fit back in the slip cover it came in. Seriously? Who really cares? The last thing that I personally care about is fitting this back into the little slip cover it came in, AND I’m a woman!!! Fold it in half and place it on the rear seat or shove it underneath, again, who really cares? LAST, but not least, some said it’s too “flimsy” and didn’t set well. Yes, it is a little flimsy, BUT it takes all of maybe 2 minutes or less, unless you’re super OCD and if you are then you probably shouldn’t own a Jeep. You just need to play with it and be patient. Remember, if you’re about the “Jeep Life”, you don’t rush things, with patience comes satisfaction. Whoosah! FYI, I have tint across the top of my windshield, which helps and now having this shade helps so much more when my girl is parked. I love the look of this shade and it was well worth it!!!
