At his point I then placed the inner tub into the outer tub. To water, you first need to remove the small plastic cap from the top of reservoir & float then add water, the float will indicate when there is enough water, then replace cap. hope this helps. **Q: is the inner liner same size as the exterior pot?** A: Hello. No they are not the same height.
