Mr. Pen Steel Rulers, 6, 8, 12, 14 inch Metal Rulers, Pack of 4

These are great! I was unaware of the "Mr Pen" brand previously, but these rulers are perfect. I was replacing a metal ruler that lived in the kitchen drawer but was repeatedly used by the kids (and often not returned). So I got this set to both replace the large ruler in that drawer, but also provide me with some smaller ones I can use to quickly measure things involved in my 3d printing hobby. These are perfect. When I need larger, I have a metric tape measure, but for hand-sized objects these are fantastic and have .5mm marks for the first 2cm. I love that there is both metric and imperial and that there are different sizes for different uses. They seem accurate (I don't have a reference gauge to scale against, but their measurements, when 3d printed, align with expectations). They are sturdy. They are easy to use and store. And I was even able to provide one to my daughter to use when quilting. She uses the metal edge as a straight-edge for cutting straight lines and guiding scissors and rolling cutters. These don't have a non-skid surface, but instead include a very handy conversion table on the back side. Overall, I'd buy these again from this brand if these 'walk away' when my kids use them. Great value, great product.

These are very nice rulers. I am planning to use them for my baking etc. These are some great size rulers that are very useful. Very durable and easy to keep them clean. Great metal material and absolutely great for price.

These rulers are made from high-quality, durable stainless steel. They are rigid and robust, so I don't have to worry about them bending easily or wearing out over time. The metal construction gives them a professional feel and ensures they will last for years.

Excellent set of rulers with lengths that make them useful without being unwieldy. I love that the end is slightly offset so there is no slop in defining 'zero'. Accuracy tests show these to be as accurate as my old eyes can detect. They are stronger and heavier than I expected which is a bonus as there is minimal flex, even in the smallest size. Overall I'm very impressed with these rulers, especially at this price point.

Pros: Lightweight. Good quality. The markings are not just stamped onto the surface; the rulers are engraved and the black enamel is in the engraving, below the surface. There are conversion tables — imperial to metric — on the reverse side. Though very small on the two sizes I purchased, it is nonetheless handy. Cons: The edges all around are not at all smooth. The corners are especially sharp. I could easily see these rulers drawing blood. I would, therefore NOT recommend them to children younger than pre-teen. Conclusion: Good rulers, especially for the price. The set of two I purchased are very handy sizes, and will be used in my sewing room. While it shouldn’t be necessary, I will smooth out all of the edges and corners on various sizes of sandpaper before using them around fabric.

Cheap. Metal. Ruler. If you are looking for heavy duty, flex on your friends, $90 Woodpeckers ruler, this is not for you. I keep these in the job trailer, and if they walk off, I don't feel bad. Other uses: open boxes, cut straight lines, point at people when you cuss (makes you seem meaner), jimmy a bathroom door, scratch an itch inside a cast, child behavioral issues, launching peanuts at coworkers during a teams meeting, swatting flies, cleaning under your finger nails, scratching your back and so much more.

A fantastic set of scales for. The graduations do not start at the bottom however so they are not good for measuring depths. The graduations are well printed with good eyes it can be read all the way to 1/64th of an inch. The metal is of a nice gauge they don't feel thin or flimsy.

In addition to a reasonable price, the rules are quality, easy to read. and appear to be accurate. The things that made me choose these over other rules is that the scale was zero at the end (as opposed to small offset before the scale began and that the inch scale was at the top where I do most of my measurements and my primary units and cm on the bottom as I seldom work in cm.

For the cost, this is an awesome set of rulers. Bought them to use in my small home shop, look great, markings are clear and crisp. Measurements aren’t to the end but easy to work around. Great buy!

all good but i didnt notice inches are on the top side and cm under...I would prefer it opposite

The rulers were good and satisfied my use case. I needed two sizes only, but getting that pack was welcomed as now I have spares as well if I need them. They are a bit rough on the edges and might bite on a soft crayon or something else one would use. I use markers, pens and pencils and also knifes for cutting and they work well for these purposes. Generally I would recommend them. Especially for their price.
