Love it so far 🙂
Works great! It jams definitely with sticks and stuff but it’s not hard to undo. It sweeps a TON of grass. Love it so far 🙂 easy to assemble too. I was nervous about that at first but it’s actually easy. It’s a nice size at 5’1” It’s lightweight. & the height adjustment works great for taller grass at a 2. I thought I would’ve had to buy a weed eater right away too but I’m broke. So. Definitely worth the money 🙂

It got the job done but there are issues. . .
I purchased the WaLensee 20 inch lawn mower to cut my backyard. It is mostly winter rye grass and weeds. The surface of the yard is very uneven in places. The grass had gotten pretty high and cutting it with a string trimmer wasn’t cutting it. I decided to try a reel lawn mower. I decided on the WaLensee because it was a 20’ mower. I’d read somewhere that a wider cutting path was better for uneven yards. I also purchased the WaLensee because it had a grass catcher and its price point. When the lawn mower arrived, the packing box looked like it had been opened and re-sealed because the tape wasn’t sticking to the box like it should have been. When I opened the shipping box, I saw it had no packing material to keep the box with the lawn mower from shifting around during transport. The lawn mower box was in very poor condition too. It had holes in it where the metal parts had poked through the box. I was concerned that I’d gotten a returned mower or worse some of the parts needed to assemble the mower would be missing. Assembly All of the parts were in the box and it appeared I’d received an unused mower. The instructions were good but some of the pictures were difficult to see and decipher what they were trying to depict. It was very easy to assemble the lawn mower. However, I was unable to secure one side of the top handle with a nut and thumb nut because the holes didn’t line up properly. I couldn’t get the nut to pass through the hole. Quality The quality of the lawn mower parts is fair. The blade mechanism seemed sturdy and well made. The handles, grass catcher basket and wheels all felt like they were a child’s toy. In other words, they did not feel sturdy enough for yard work in my opinion. First Cut The WaLensee lawn mower cut the grass and weeds very easily. Because the grass was high, I set the mower high for the first pass. Then lowered it for the second and third passes. I cut the yard in what I can only describe as a lattice pattern—first vertically then horizontally across the vertical cut. I ended up taking the basket off as it came off and came apart anyways. Likely because of all the bumps in my yard. When I finished, I was very pleased with how the yard looked. Of course, a cut yard always looks better than an uncut one. What I liked: The lawn mower was easy to assemble. The lawn mower was easy to maneuver even over my uneven yard. It cut the grass! I had to do a little back and forth maneuvering but not a lot. What I didn’t like: Quality assurance issues. The handles that came with this lawn mower should have gotten recycled because the holes did not lineup properly to allow the nut to pass through. Also, when raising and lowering the mower, I noticed that one side clamped onto the teeth of the gear better than the other. This didn’t seem to affect the mower’s ability to cut, but it was annoying. The flimsy feel of the handle and grass catcher basket How the lawn mower was what’s shipped. Would I recommend it? If you have a well-manicured lawn and want to use a reel mower to keep it that way, this lawn mower would be ideal in my opinion. Especially if you are mowing a larger area. If your yard is not well-manicured and has uneven places, this lawn mower can cut it without overworking you, at least that was my experience. If you want the solid feel of a sturdy handle and grass catcher basket that won’t come undone or detach from the mower when you hit a bump, you may not like this lawn mower as the handle felt flimsy and the grass catcher became a nuisance for me. I ended up taking it off. My overall rating is a 4 the mower did a very good job cutting the grass despite its shortcomings.

Push mower
I am very happy with my push mower. Instructions for assembly are very poor, but I was able to complete assembly by comparing it visually to the picture on the booklet. End product is great, cuts good and catches grass pretty much okay. I'm happy with my purchase.

Quality build, not quality job.
Quality built. Easy to assemble. Larger size than most. Easy to push or pull in some areas harder for others. Doesn’t cut well but in thin/short grass. Doesn’t do well in a lot of areas. Thought this would be great for our yard but it doesn’t do well really at all. Overall the physical product is good but the job itself suppose to do it really doesn’t do well in most styles/thickness of grass.

The manual, needs to be improved it does what it is designed to do.
Well it works exactly the way it’s supposed too. The manual was not of much use for the assembly but a few pictures from one put together already from this page were able to answer all the questions the manual created. If you have a small even yard and a weed eater for the edges this will do great for you. There is a significant gap between the blade and the wheels. If the wheels are not parallel to the ground the blade will not be able to turn, so you can’t let a wheel slide off the edge of the lawn onto something lower, like a driveway or a curb. You will have to trim around the edges with a weed eater. The grass catcher is not going to get everything the blades cut depending on how tall the grass or weeds are and the cutting height it’s set at about 50% is about the best one can hope for which is fine for keeping a layer of healthy mulch down.
