They don't tear out easily and in fact, trying to tear them out, I ended up tearing out the seam in two of them. I then tried cutting them out, but couldn't get close enough to the seam, so part of the white tag still shows. **Q: The title says linen, but the description says polycotton. What is polycotton? How much linen is in this product?** A: This is so frustrating. The listing for the multicolor clearly lists it as being linen AND polycotton (polyester cotton) blend. How hard is this **Q: are these napkins permanent press?** A: I bought 12 of these napkins and have washed several times. I do iron them just to get a nice crease but you definitely do not have to iron them.. They come out of the wash and dryer unwrinkled....so I would say yes to your question. **Q: Will these fit into a napkin ring?** A: They fit into my napkin rings. I am currently making flowers out of the napkins using the "twisting stems" that I bought.
