Great tongs! One for the kitchen, one for the grill. They even lock closed!!!
These tongs are really, really nice. They are all metal and very strong. I absolutely love the shorter 9 inch one and wish they offered packages of two of them as well. The longer one was too long for my purposes, but thought it great for anyone with a grill. So I sent the 12 incher to my brother, Pete, in Florida who has a grill. He loved it and thanked me profusely for sending it to him. He had never seen tongs like that. I highly recommend these tongs. If you don't need both, buy them and make someone happy with a gift. :) Update: I just discovered these tongs will lock closed. Just squeeze them closed and pull the ring away from the tongs. Presto!! They're locked... :) Ready for the drawer to store. 08/24/2025 I love the 9 inch tongs so much I just bought a second set of two, the 9 and 12 inch. Again, I will send the longer one to another brother in Florida and sure he will love it for his grilling too. I still wish the manufacturers would package two 9 inch tongs. (HINT!)

Get A Good Grip!
Love these tongs. I was forever buying the ones with the silicone handles and grippers but the rubber always winds up getting warped and coming off. These basic metal tongs don’t scratch most pot surfaces and they have good grippage. They’re also easy to clean and the lock works every time.

Convenient Size, Quality Material, but Requires Grip Strength
I like the size of these and like the quality, but they are very firm and requires a bit of grip strength. I would not order again.
