What a difference!
Purchased this for my son's Case-it that he uses for school. It gets very heavy if he carries books in it along with his Chromebook as his school does not allow backpacks to be carried class to class. He LOVES it. It doesn't dig into his shoulder or slide to his neck. We'll made.

Durable, utterly comfortable, continuously self-lengthens
It is the most comfortable shoulder strap I’ve ever used in my life. That’s what I needed, and I am very grateful for that. However, I am a female on the tallest side of petite and as such, I need to use this product in the most shortened length always. Otherwise it would hang closer to groin length and bang around on my legs everywhere and get in the way.The bad thing about it, the only bad thing, is a dealbreaker though. I won’t buy another one. No matter what length I said it to, as I wear it over one shoulder and move through my day it incrementally self-lengthens to (if I allow it) it’s longest length. This tendency it has makes it almost useless to me. I need it to keep my bag in a place where I can reach it but it’s not in the way. On a bicycle, or walking in public. Lengthening like that puts my stuff closer where other people could reach into the bag, and where it could hang off me precariously on a bicycle and I could lose things or slamming into some thing that I’m passing closely and lose things. Or maybe it would catch on some thing and a have an accident.The only way to keep it at the shortest possible lengths that I said it to is too sew it so it stays put. Which is fine I can just keep this one for that length and then buy one that actually stays where I set it that I could use at all other lengths.

It fit well with tote I use for my esentia water bottle. The quick adjusting strap makes shouldering crossbody a snap!
