I bought a small and it was meant to fit someone between 5'5" and 5'8" but it fits my husband at 5'11" and it's still quite wide. I purchased it for my son who is 5'5" but pretty thin at 100 lbs., you could fit 3 of him side by side inside of it. I'm keeping it since it fits my husband. I purchased this as a costume for my daughter's dance concert since they were doing a dance from the movie Holes and all needed to look like prisoners. We wound up cutting the sleeves off so I could see her move. But if you are cheap/poor this will do.Look at the sizing chart in the item's photos it is pretty accurate. This item was the cheapest orange jump suit I could find, I added pockets and altered the collar to make it in to an X-wing pilot uniform (pictures)The Med size was pretty loose on me, but I am 5'7" 130lbs. I brought it in a little as well as adding on the pockets and replacing the collar.The material was a bit on the thin side. That was fine for me, managed to stay cool in a completely packed theatre.
