Well made, easy installation. Not as comfortable as the original high back seat in my Tsunami 140 but its ok. Much easier to get in and out of the boat now, and my spray skirt fits better. Its easy enough to switch back and forth so I will use this seat whenever I use my skirt.

Replaced the original seatback on my Tsunami 145. Relatively easy to install, but you have to drill a couple small holes in the comming which is not mentioned in the instructions or WS video. However, if one looks closely at the comming, there appear to be a couple small marks in the plastic which is where I drilled the holes.The band is very comfortable; I have taken a couple 3 hour trips and have not had any back stiffness. It's easier to enter/reenter the boat and to fit my spray skirt with the backband. I would highly recommend this product.

Great backband, pretty crummy installation instructions. I had to call Confluence to find out that I had to drill holes in my kayak. Not a big deal, but it didn't say that in the instructions nor on the video I watched on YouTube. For someone non mechanical like me, knowing ahead of time to get a drill would have been helpful. Once installed, I'm super happy with it and will order one for my other Tsunami as well.

Purchased to replace the backband on a Dagger touring kayak (Dagger and Wilderness systems are part of the same company). Easy to adapt to the older Dagger kayak. Adjusting to the correct position was easy. I had part of my lower spine fussed 5 years ago. This was possibly the most comfortable seat setup out of all of our (7) kayaks.

I’m a rather stout guy & I wasn’t getting comfortable back support out of my older Pungo 140’s System 3 seat back. This back band brought me the support I was needing. Very simple to replace the existing seat back, I only needed to drill two screw holes in the back of the cockpit cowling. It also makes entry & exit of the kayak easier, not having to contend with a plastic frame seat back to fold up or down. Now I have a second Pungo Kayak. I’m considering another back and mod for that one too.

This is a well thought out product. It greatly increased my comfort while paddling. Install was easy, about 30 mins

I ordered this because the main strap on my backband is about to break (where it meets the sides of the kayak). The description does not expressly say all straps are included but it does say "Backbend Kit provides you with everything that you need..." and "Straps are easy to adjust" which led me to believe it was a complete kit. I attached pictures of the packing list and what I received (both of which should be in the item description). Don't purchase if you need the complete strap kit or you will be as disappointed as I am. I'm also worried the mesh will wear through but I won't know until I put some miles on it. Otherwise shipped quickly and looks like a quality product.
