Freya Women's Fancies Underwire Plunge Bra

The back band is true to size and surprisingly supportive given that it only has one hook. The cups fit fine except for the top lace. The top lace is quite loose, so I don't really feel held in even though I am. The plunge isn't very deep. I expected the gore to sit lower, but it works for normal tops. The fabric comes pretty starched, but softens after a few washes and becomes comfortable. All in all a passable, reasonably comfortable bra that I'll keep in my rotation, but not my favorite.

Freya brand is one of my favorites. I gave it 4 stars because I felt the cups gapped a little at the top.

I absolutely love this bra. It fits me perfectly, exactly like my Freya bra of the same size purchased directly from the brand.SOME NOTES:as written above, these are in UK SIZES. Freya has their own conversion chart, so even if you *think* you know your size, it's a good idea to double check, or to use a tool like abrathatfits.The nature of Freya bras is that they *will* be snug when they're new. Start wearing on the largest hook, and as the bra settles and conforms to your body, you can begin to wear the band tighter. I find that the middle hook for my 28FF is perfect for me, and works even when my weight fluctuates.The gore - center part - of the bra should lay flat against your breastbone. If you haven't worn a well-fitting bra that has a gore that tacks, it may be an uncomfortable feeling. If it's just unfamiliar and is something you settle in to, great! If the gore is painful or standing well away from your skin, your purchased bra size may be too small or too large.Unlined Freya bras shape themselves to your breast, not the other way around. If you're purchasing unlined, don't expect your natural shape to suddenly become round and perky (if that's not your resting shape). That being said, I find that this bra has a really nice natural lift and brings everything to the front, no underarm gaping, and creates nice cleavage in that way.Overall, I love this bra. It's super cute, my partner likes it, and it's comfy and has enough nipple control that I can wear this throughout the day under soft t-shirts.

I have always had large breasts and have never been able to purchase bras in a regular store in my entire adult life (despite spending 4 years managing an internationally known bra store). I hit DDD breasts by the time I was 12 and now sit at an uncomfortable 34I (US Sizing). I am gearing up for a reduction at the end of this year but desperately needed a new bra in the meantime because I have several weddings, vacations, and events happening between now and then and the one I was wearing was several sizes too large in the band due to recent weight loss.The band is perfectly snug but not uncomfortable. The gore rests comfortable on my sternum which is something I have never had fit correctly before; typically the cup is too small or the wire not wide enough to allow the gore to rest under my breast tissue. If you aren't familiar with bra construction, the gore is the center part between the cups. It allows for a secure fit and helps reduce movement and shifting throughout the day. A well fitting gore should be flush against your sternum without digging in.Although the cups are still SLIGHTLY too small for me, that is just a product of my bust size and not the bra itself from what I can tell. It is so flattering, comfortable, and offers the support I so desperately need. It is a forward-projecting bra so the side support looks beautiful if you're trying to avoid an overly-matronly look. I ordered another color so I have one black and one beige to last me until my reduction. This price is absolutely unbeatable compared to other bras that go to size 34I on the market and I'm even tempted to order a fun color because I have never owned anything other than black or beige before just due to limited availability and affordability in my size. I knew my bra size was something I couldn’t just pick up at any store so I did some research and checked out abrathatfits on Reddit to get advice from others who know what they are doing. That’s how I found this brand and I’m so happy to have a bra that fits, it’s comfy and not itchy at all to me. They have a calculator that is a very helpful starting point linked on that page. I came out a 30DD but that was too small in the cup of this brand for me… turns out I am a 30E if you are struggling like I was go there for advice. I feel good and that’s all I could ask for. Get it but take your measurements first and know you won’t fit into the same size of every brand.

My preferred bras are Freya, they fit my me the best; Love my lacy bras, love them in all colors. This has been the best experience in purchasing them. I am limited in to my ability to walk and stand do to medical issues. Going to a store is so difficult. I have filled my drawer with all the colors.

I didn't think the bra would work. The clip is so small but it lifted and separated my breast amazingly!!! It was so light weight didn't make my breast sweat at all!!! Follow the chart and you'll get the right size. Highly recommend!

I am a 32g, usually bras have broad shoulder straps & sometimes three hooks, which are awkward to fasten. This bra has narrow straps & one hook! So light & cool for the summer.

The Mrs looks hot in this, a good every day bra with a hint of hell yea!

I bought this as a "sexy" bra. I usually have trouble finding anything cute that fits a larger cup size, but this looks fabulous on. The only downsides are that the price tag is high, as usual with Freya, and that the material can feel quite scratchy by the end of the day.
