After about a week of use I noticed that the slippers began to get dirty and so I decided to wash them. I washed them in the washing machine, and I applied dish soap to the dirty areas on the memory foam with a toothbrush before popping them in to the washing machine. That did the trick. They washed beautifully and they were dry after only one cycle in the dryer. Though the texture of the slippers changed slightly, they remained soft, fluffy, and did not mat at all, which is important. I know some furry/fluffy textures can mat when dried in a dryer but this one held up very well. When I’ve washed slippers by hand in the past, I know they can take much longer to dry, so it was very convenient to just wash them in the washing machine. I will say applying dish soap with the toothbrush to the dirty areas on the memory foam was what did the trick. If you try to wash them in the machine without doing the step it is likely you will have to wash them multiple times but it’s very quick thing to do and you don’t need to scrub them, just brush the dish soap on to agitate the dirt a little bit.
