I bought the MSI MPG A1000GS PCIe 5.0 Fully Modular 1000W PSU and it has been a great upgrade for my system. Power Compatibility: I use an RTX 2080 Ti, which requires two 8-pin PCIe connectors. The PSU only includes one PCIe cable with a single 8-pin, so at first I thought I’d have a problem powering my GPU. Fortunately, MSI’s online portal offers a free 12VHPWR (12-pin) to dual 8-pin cable, and that cable works perfectly. No instability, no crashes — power delivery has been completely solid. The unit feels very well-built, the modular cables plug in securely, and the PSU runs extremely quiet. Even during gaming sessions, the fan noise is barely noticeable. Even though it only ships with one PCIe cable, the free portal cable option solves the issue for older GPUs like the 2080 Ti. Was looking for a high quality 1000w PSU for a new build and this one fit the bill. I picked it because it is 150mm instead of 160w like some comparable models which was perfect for fitting in the Lancool 207. Good warranty, high quality components, and silent mode. After getting it, a huge plus was also the actual cable quality. The cables are embossed and have 2 built in clamp-style cable combs on every cable bundle which looks great and makes the cable easy to bend and position. The cables are also long (even maybe a bit too long for the case I'm using) and I had no issues routing them how I wanted. The only downside was that out of the box this one comes with a single regular 8 pin PCI cable which may be a problem if you have an AMD GPU. There is a program on MSI's site to get a 12 pin to 2x 6pin adapter for free if you need one though, so seems like it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Excellente alimentation, fiable et silencieuse ! J’utilise la MSI 1000GS et j’en suis vraiment très satisfait. La qualité de fabrication est au rendez-vous : le bloc est solide, bien fini et inspire confiance. L’alimentation est entièrement modulaire, ce qui facilite énormément le montage et la gestion des câbles. Côté performance, rien à redire : la stabilité des tensions est impeccable, même avec une configuration puissante (RTX 4090 + Ryzen 9). Le ventilateur reste très silencieux, même en charge, et la certification 80+ Gold garantit un excellent rendement énergétique.
