It's well-packaged, had no imperfections in the glass, a good size, and easy to gift! As high quality as those expensive ones, from what I've seen. I will say we wish it had some examples photos and a "how-to" pictures/leaflet/booklet because our father, who we gifted it to, was not familiar with this tool. It would have been more fun if he had a high quality, cool looking example to see right away and know what it is. Would've been a better first reaction if he had that right away. But he does love it, highly recommend if you're looking for something to give to a dad who likes photography.
