They are extremely flattering. I am 5'-7" and 170lbs, not especially curvy, but these give me a beautiful shape. I have a roll from a c-section, and these smooth the whole area to where you can't tell at all. I would say they run on the larger side, but I'm appreciative of it. I typically struggle to find the right size between Medium and Large. I ordered a Medium, and they were perfect. They do ride up to the actual hip bone, so expect a bit of bikini area to be exposed, but this actually makes these very sexy for how much coverage they offer. The cotton lining in the crotch is wider than you typically find, which makes them very comfortable to wear. The lace is not scratchy, and the quality is great - the material is thick, the waist band is thick but smooth, and the lace doesn't feel like it will rip easily.The only negative I have is that the seam between the crotch and the lace on the back is quite thick, and feels like it may be irritating to sit on all day. They have a little bit of spandex feel that helps to hold in the tummy a bit, along with the lace trim. The trim keeps the lines from showing through clothes too.
