My doggies pads on her paws were very dried out from the salt and snow. This helped immensely to moisten her pads and keep them nice. My girl seemed very happy to have it on there. She didn't even try to lick it off. She is a 12 year old service dog and it was -10 here the other day! This stuff is nice, it's a tube around the size of a chapstick, a bit wider. It's great for applying to her feet. I keep it in my coat. It smells good and works good on her pads. My Phoebe is 12 years old and deserves to be taken care of the best for what she does for me! We will use this a lot for her pads on her paws.

I like this product, the shape helps make it easier to apply on paw pads than getting it on my fingers from a tub container, but FYI this thing is as small as a tube of chapstick

I live in Florida, and there are only about 12 days a year that the pavement, or pretty much any exposed surface, won’t be 100+ degrees at some point in the day. I have shoes for my dog for times that she’ll be walking around outdoors for extended periods of time, but I was looking for a solution for short, but still potentially painful distances for her to walk, like parking lots. I wanted something that would protect her for those short distances, when putting on her shoes, (which she hates) isn’t logistically practical. While I don’t have a scientific way of confirming this, I have applied the paw balm to her (on multiple occasions) right before leaving the house, and after a short drive, when walking her from the car, into a store or park, she didn’t appear to have any discomfort. Granted, we move at a quick pace, and my girl is a trooper, so maybe she just wasn’t showing signs of distress, but it really didn’t seem to bother her. However, and this is just my option, I don’t see how, given the very thin layer of protection, that this would be a viable solution for anything other than a Very limited time on a hot surface. Some reviewers mention that their dogs try licking it off after application, but mine doesn’t show much interest in it. Its not that hard to apply, but be prepared that if you do so at home, or in a car, it does leave a little bit of visible, greasy feeling residue on hard surfaces and smooth fabric. I bought the 0.15 trial stick, which is very small, and somewhat expensive for the amount, however, they do make it very clear that this is a small trail size. In the end, I don’t know if this really works, but you do get more applications than you’d expect, and even if it only provides just marginal protection and comfort for my dog, the price is worth it. Giving this a product 3 stars because it has, in my option, pretty limited effectiveness when it comes to heat protection, which was the purpose for my purchase.

love for my pets who get a dry or crackly nose ! and for their paws especially to protect on hot summer days and super cold winters !it leaves the skin soft and isn’t slippery!

I like the small size of this paw balm. It has a pleasant scent. The balm isn’t thick and only takes a small amount to use per paw. It works great for my male mini dachshund. He needs this in the winter for his little dry paw pads. This balm helps keep them from cracking. Very easy to use and store away. I highly recommend purchasing this item if your dogs paw pads get dry and crack.

I'm going to be doing before & after pic/s of my small Pibble (pitbull ;> ) girl's scratchy pawpads! Going to take pics after puting it on her paws at bedtime to minimize the time she's left alone to lick/chew at her paws (she does that a lot, MUST be tasty :P) & so she's not running all over the apt rubbing the stuff off her paws either! Because we weren't quite ready to try it on her yet, I opened it and tried it on MY fingers! I had accidentally made my fingertips very torn up/scratchy after touching a bottle of spray cleaner with some on the outside of the bottle.. :/ Can't stand when it happens, my fingers then catch on EVERY fabric.. the worst is MICROfiber! BLEH! The next day, i remembered having used your Paw Pad product.. and WOW! It srsly helped my OWN fingers in just 1 night! I'm amazed, because as a Type 1 Diabetic since i was little.. .23ish yrs later i have some nerve damage & like most diabetics.. take a little longer to heal from everyday things! So for it to help my fingers that quick, I def LOVE it already! THANKS Natural Dog Company! I think tonight my dog Pepper gets to try it out! <^w^> Maybe i'll let her write her OWN review after XD !

this is the mixture effective balm we have ever used ! the tiniest , most effective balm ever . my dog loves the scent and sleeps better licks her paws loves it. her paws are literally silky and soft and shiny

Nice foot balm for puppy's

Our 18 month old staffy cross has had dry paws and she was licking at them constantly. Until I came across this company.... Within 1 Day of using it her paws are soo smooth and she is much happier. When I say this is tiny I’m not joking it’s smaller than a tube of lipstick. It also didn’t work on my dogs paws, he licked it all off then grabbed the tube and destroyed it within seconds. Total waste of money.
