Love this salt!
Had this while we were in Australia and was thrilled to find it in the US on Amazon. Such a nice flavor when you need it, and reasonable price for how much you get!

Just like in Australia... but must be old, as expiration date is in just 3 months
Great taste... was searching for good Chicken Salt after coming home from australia and loving this ubiquitous salt that you find in all kinds of restaurants and takeouts there. This one tastes great and seems to be just like what we recalled from that trip. It's possible it's just slightly too salty, meaning that to get enough of the chicken flavor you want, you end up making the fries or popcorn overly salty. Wish there were a version with a little less sodium, but this is a good product. My only criticism may be more about the vendor than the manufacturer. The container I received expires in just over 3 months. I'll never use this much salt in that short of a time. I suspect this sat around a long time in the channel somewhere and as a result, if I followed the date on the package, I'll be throwing it out when it's probably 80% full.

Purchased this at the recommendation of an aussie
One of my friends from Perth recommended this to me and said it’s constantly offered at “chip shops” in Australia and I should try it. At first when I tasted it on its own the closest thing I can compare it to is maruchan chicken ramen seasoning packets and I was like “….. this is it?” And I didn’t understand what the fuss was about. Later that evening my mom invited us all over to eat egg rolls from a new recipe she came up with and I showed my family the chicken salt and we sprinkled a little on our plates to eat with the egg rolls just to see. What tasted like nice egg rolls now tasted like a flavor explosion in our mouths. We got French fries (or chips if you’re anywhere outside of the US) and put it on them next and again flavor bomb. The thing to remember is whatever fried foods you’re putting this on need to be hot hot, not microwaved hot or room temp or the chicken salt won’t stick and it won’t be as good. On it’s own it’s flat tasting and on cold or room temp food it is also really disappointing and lackluster. But on anything fried it’s worth the purchase and shipping time hand over fist to the point where someone took the chicken salt to a different room and every five minutes someone was shouting “WHOS GOT THE CHICKEN SALT” I still want to try other brands but this is definitely a kitchen must have

Really tasty seasoning
I heard an Australian talking about how good their "chicken salt" is so I had to try it. It is really good. I've been using it in place of regular salt on a lot of foods with delicious results. I will say don't use it on chicken though. I read the flavor is derived from chicken skin so using it on chicken is just overdoing the chicken flavor. Australians mainly cite it as fry seasoning and I can attest to it being great on fries.

Great for fries
Sprinkle this on your French fries when they come out of the oven/fryer and cover in gravy. You can thank me later.
