Feels to be sturdy enough as far as holding trash and the trash men empties it ok. I purchased as trash company was always owing my lid or pulling wheels off or cracking the sides of my other trash cans. This one is not cracking, the lid seems securely attached as do the wheels. It does tip over when rolling it out to the street if I hit a chug hole so be watchful of that because it’s big and heavy to lift back to upright position for me. It was an ordeal to get as a large shipping company had to call and make an appointment and a straight truck 18 wheeler had to back down my subdivision for delivery and I had to be home to receive it. I thought I’d just come home and it would be sitting in the driveway (after all it’s a trash can that I will be rolling out to the driveway every trash day lol), but even with all the hoopla in getting it here I really do like it and I’m glad I purchased it. With an attached step to open lid and a step bar to lean it back on easy roll tires it is just what I needed with my physical limitations. At an empty weight of about 30 pounds I no longer worry about my trash can ending up in the street or the lake when we have windy or or my days, it stays put! Plus I no longer have to struggle with multiple trash cans as this is big and roomy enough to hold everything I need it to.

When the time came to replace our old Rubbermaid 50gal trash can I did a lot of web searching (and researching). When push came to shove, this BRUTE was the best solution. Slightly larger, to accommodate 3 full-sized bags of trash, compared to only 2 in our old can. The foot-activated pedal to raise the lid is a nice perk; great for when you're trying to load it up but both hands are full. Big wheels roll smoothly, even over bumpy uneven ground. Plastic walls of the can are thick yet soft enough to take a hit but still pop back into place. The hinged lid fits tight. Only downside is that the base is narrow so it doesn't want to stay upright in high winds. Yeah, it's kinda pricey... but you get what you pay for. Hopefully we'll get as many years out of this can as we did with our old one.

Great company, for a large trash pail easy to maneuver, I bought it because reclying comes once every other week now, and I end up filling it up. Had a small issue but company took care of it and I was pleased with their response.

64 gallon - I got this to temp hold my garbage because my city only takes specialty bags and I didn't want bags sitting all over my garage all week! Solid but unsturdy! You must 2 hand this or it will tip over. I like that the lid closes all the way (keeps the flys trapped inside). I would not return this just because of the tip over, I will just 2 hand it and be careful!

The first time the trash guys emptied it the medal rod pipe came off the can.
