This creatine is wonderful! Easy to mix and dilute with just about anything… water juice the basic pre and hydration packs! You also do not get the chalky taste like other brands even when you drink k by itself! I live the brand and all of their products. Definitely just have if you care about your health and fitness goals!

I am reviewing Basic Supplements brand creatine, unflavored, 10.6oz, which at the time of this review was $19.99. I have been taking creatine for a several months now, and definitely see an improvement, both in terms of my muscle gains, retention, and overall mood. This supplement is seemingly identical to my go-to brand, which is offered by bulksupplements. Overall it's a good product; mixes very easily, with no clumping or excessive sediment. No discernable flavor, so I'd call this a win. I'd say the only issue I see is you get a lot more creatine for the same price if you go with bulksupplements, but you do miss out on handy plastic jug. I think if they dropped the price to around $12 it'd be a good value for this size.

This creatine meets all of my criteria: monohydrate, micronized, unflavored and 3rd party tested (being vegan is a plus as I’m vegetarian). I add 5 grams (I weigh it for consistency) and add it to my chocolate protein/mass gainer shake which I drink about 20 minutes after my workout. The price is a little high at almost $2/ounce (my previous creatine was about $1.30/ounce) but prices go up and down. I wish I hadn’t waited to so long to make creatine a part of my fitness regimen. I’m older now and lost a lot of valuable years (and muscle mass) to a car accident. But I’ve been back at it for a couple of years now. I started taking creatine a couple of months ago and I’m absolutely getting results… I’m going up in weights and I’m not dragging towards the end of my workouts. I would dread cardio because it would exhaust me but now I have a little energy to spare (I sound like one of those annoying commercials). And zero side effects. Seriously, consider adding creatine to your diet if you workout!
