Great Brewing
A must for the home brewer. The bigger pot is more value for money instead of buying small satchets

Works well.
Used it to make a blackberry mead and it has helped to produce so much more juice than freezing and mashing alone, it has a lovely dark purple colour compared to my last melomel ( fruit mead ) cant wait for fermentation to end so i can sample it before bottling.

This stuff could clear mud
Ive been making home brews with shop bought apple juices (100% concentrate) for a few months now and always found the end product rather cloudy. I know aging is the best method and other products are out there to clear it after fermentation, but as an experiment I tried to clear this thick Exotic juice. (After a bit of research I read it is best to add the pectalose 8-24hrs before fermentation). With everything sterilised I added 1/4 level teaspoon of pectalose to 70ml luke warm water and stirred as instructed. After 30 mins I stirred the pectalose mixture again to dissolve it fully then added it to a 1.5 litre bottle with the 1 litre of Exotic juice. Shook the bottle really well then left it in a dark place for 24hrs. (The average temperature was 21ยฐC) After 24hrs I checked the juice and I was amazed by the result. The before and after pics don't do it justice. Alright, it wasn't transparent but I was more than happy with what the pectalose had done. Looking forward to using it on my apple brews now!
