Q: Does these detetc cats or dogs while in use ? How long batterys last for ?

Hi, The HW 03 detector will be triggered by a cat or dog. You need to choose a different one which is pet immune. Check the Wolfguard site. The battery lasts for ages. More than two years for mine. Hope this is helpfull.

Bought this alarm for the house as a deterrent, when I was trying it out the alarm went off my next door neighbour could hear it, very loud, there are couple of settings, one sounds like a door bell, the other is a siren, the bell sound too quiet , I got siren and it's defining, very pleased , if you want too protect your property this is what you want 😀
