I saw a documentary on the mining process in Utah that gets this salt. They grind it out then bag it up and ship it to you. That's it, they don't add or subtract anything from it. It contains all the nutrients of vitamins and minerals that our bodies naturally need. Iodized salt bleaches out all the good stuff, bur this salt is great for your body, it even has a very slight sweet taste if you put it under your tongue. I usually don't care for salt that much but I do find myself getting a few grains and sticking it under my tongue. I'm so impressed with this that I'm even taking it out to California and giving some to my sons I think they will benefit greatly from it. My body actually seems to feel better since putting some of these vitamins and minerals back into my body. Thank you so much "REDMOND" Company and family for finding and sharing this salt with us. The documentary states that our body is made of approximately 90% water which contains just about the same amounts of minerals that is found in our oceans. Millions of yrs ago Utah was under water, which explains why there is this salt mine underground. So get back to what our bodies require and get this salt. As you can tell I love this salt!!!

Best salt ever. Who would know there’s a difference in salt. There is. Redmond has the highest quality products. I also use their Re-Lyte Hydration powder every day and it makes a huge difference in my overall health and work-out support.

We’ve been using Redmond salt for the past three years. It’s our regular salt for cooking and at the table. It tastes clean with a bit of natural mineral flavor that makes food pop without being too strong or salty. Easy to grind, no junk added, just plain unrefined salt from an old underground source. Feels simpler and better than regular table salt for everyday stuff.
