16A Smart Plug (Grey) Washing Machine Voltage Protector, Water Heater, Microwave, Dishwasher, AC, EV Charger, High/Low Voltage Trip Safety cutout with auto-restart + Surge Protection upto 4000 Volts

I am writing this review after using this product (6 nos purchased) for nearly one year. As I live in Mumbai where we do not have wide power fluctuations, I am not able to test this product at the Wall Socket Level. Further, I do not know how to simulate the voltage below 170V or above 270V to test this product manually. Hence, I am assuming that this product works well as I am not able to test it for Voltage Trip. Remember this is a High Low Voltage Cutout device working within the 170V - 270V limit and will permit operations of a device connected to it as long as the Voltage from your Power Company is within this limit. This is not a Voltage Stabilizer and will not stabilize the voltage to bring it to approx 220-250V (Indian standard). You must know when you need to use a Voltage Stabilizer and when you need to use this High Low Voltage Cutout protector. Other than better protection offered by Voltage Stabilizer, they are generally more expensive that Voltage Protectors such as this device. For those of you not using any voltage protection units for your expensive devices, this is a very handy unit as you can be assured that you devices will not be blown out by any voltage outside the (170-270)V range. Further, if you do not have physical area for placement of Voltage stabilizers, this is your best solution as it can be directly plugged into a 16A wall socket to get basic voltage protection for your expensive gadgets (TV, Home Theatre, Computer, Washing Machine, AC, Refrigerator, etc....). You get can this product in a few models - 6A and 16A. Remember, that you can use 16A model in place of 6Amodel and since the price difference was not much between 6A and 16A at the time of my purchase approx one year ago - I have ended up buying 6 units of 16A Model for my expensive gadgets at my home. For those of you contemplating 16A model - note that the 16A Wall Socket is physically much bigger in size compared to the 6A Wall Socket. I had to call the electrician to get some of my 6A Wall Socket upgraded to 16A Wall Socket as I purchased only the 16A model of this product. All your electronic gadgets that currently work on 6A will also work on 16A wall sockets and hence it is always advisable to go for 16A walls sockets generally. The product was well packaged and the build quality is good -- Operations are very straight forward and there is a 8 second delayed start before the unit will supply power to the connected device indicated by the GREEN LED The Service Center is located at Pune - You can get your service of the product done even outside of the Warranty period (1 Year) by sending your product to and from Pune (at your courier expense) + Charges to the paid for repair of the unit outside of the Warranty period. I have ended up purchasing 6 units of the 16A product during the course of the last 2 years and am using them for my TV, AC, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Microwave, and other gadgets. If you do have the money and space for a dedicated voltage stabilizer, go for that --- otherwise, buy this product available at an excellent price. Hope this review will help other buyers who intend to save their precious gadgets from power fluctuations in most parts of India.

Very bad product, one day there was a short in the unit ,big sparks with fire. I was shocked. It burnt the power supply unit. Product did not work when there was a surge. It wad big lost to my equipment. Please do buy thus product.

Great product and great service . Writing this review after using the product for more than 1 year . It does what it says . I have been running my Front load washing machine using this switch and it does protect the machine from surges and vol. drops . In between , I had a minor issue with the product , I called the helpline and they simply asked me to ship the product , they repaired it and sent it back at no extra cost . 5/5 for this great product .

Awesome...for so long I have been searching for this product. I remember purchasing a Belkin product that was supposed to be a plug based stabilizer. While Belkin is working (seems to have) for my 7 Stage purification Water Filter, I wanted something having more muscle for my washing machine. I did not have space for a regular Stabilizer (V-Guard and the likes) and this one fits in perfectly. I also purchased the 6amps version. This product seems to be recently launched (my review is late)...I was able to look it up on Snapdeal and then Amazon (guess Amazon search requires a bit of tweaking)...I did not know the name but went for stabilizers. I am using this for my LG TROM Washing Machine (5.5/3KG) with 100% dryer. The product is a behemoth compared to usual 15/16amp plugs, heavy, so plz make sure if it is going to hang vertically, the plug point should be strong enough. Build quality is very good. There is an indicator lamp (small one to tell you if power is on or not). It is working fine, automatic cut-off, timer based circuit so, even if the power comes back it takes a few seconds before the power is allowed to reach the washing machine (exactly what I wanted)...like most of other V-Guard Stabilizers (Fridge, Air Conditioner) . Do not expect this product to step up the voltage by a considerable amount or any at all, plz invest on those big dedicated stabilizers with consistent step-up output and customization options. Also, I would stay away from using this with electrical equipments that are more sensitive to electrical fluctuations, load and demand e.g. it says this is good for AC but I will not stretch it to the limit but restricted the usage to lesser loads. I have dedicated powerful stabilizers for my AC, Dryer, Dishwasher and side-by-side Fridge. A must buy if you are looking for plug based Stabilizers, good quality and timer/cut-off feature, auto restart...very convenient for places where we cannot put a regular size box stabilizers. I am using this product regularly...let's see how this one stands out, will provide update after another 6 months.

Try to return damaged product as per the return window policy within 5 days and returned it for a replacement, only to be told it would take 45 days. Product already reached the centre message came to my inbox and mail from, customer care came to initiat a refund, but the funds have still not been credited to my account. This level of unprofessionalism makes it very difficult to trust your brand or the quality of your service. Please provide an immediate update on my refund status.

Was looking for a voltage stabilizer for my washing machine and came across this cost effective solution. Self nstallation is super quick & easy since it's plug and play! Performs the intended functions satisfactorily.

This is good, I didn't find any other 16A power surge protector, this one needs to be little smaller and less bulky. As this touches 2 switches above the socket. And when it gets weighted down, it looses connection. And computer restarts middle of doing something.
