Can’t go wrong with Mitutoyo
I’ve always been a calipers guy but a good pair of mic’s changed that. These Mitutoyo mic’s are them, not only are they well know for their quality and precise tools they also had metric versions

Dont think get it
You cant find anything like this its precise and great quality, i wish it had a better box. Digitals can get problems and dont believe they are durable enough.this is good enough and 0.001mm resolution

Arrived on time as promised
Received today, I inspected the instrument and all is perfect!Maybe tomorrow I will start working with it to adjust my motorcycle valve shims clearance and I will post later the results.

Good Micrmeter
Great micrometer. I have one from General Tools I bought it about 20 years ago it is in inches,but it is not as accurate and durable as this one.Mitutoyo Micrometers are used in factories and by professionals.They are durable and accurate and will last longer.

Mitutoyo OD mics are quality. Have used this brand of OD mics for 20+ years in the machine industry. Known quality, a known product. Comes with certificate of inspection. Added to my personal tool inventory.

Precise and solid
Works like a charm; measures are consistent.At first I thought I had to calibrate it, then I realized that even the slightest impurity that lands on the measuring surfaces (like oil traces and dust) get measured, so you need to gently close (or almost close) it on a piece of paper (I used kitchen paper) and gently slide it off to clean the surface. Then it measured perfectly, and trying different objects multiple times it gave the same measurements down to the micron.

Does what it is supposed to do
This micrometer does exactly what it's meant to do i have other micrometers which I have had for many years and this one fills a measurement gap I do not use micrometers very often I use calipers the mitutoyo is a quality item

Brilliantly engineered - oozes quality.
What can I say, just engineering excellence! Mitutoyo make some of the best test instruments around & i'm lucky enough to have a few of them.If you want an old school micrometer then you can't go wrong with this one.

Quality
Total Quality. (But be aware there are cheap Copy's out there). This is such a well made tool I cant think of a single negative.
