I was having neck stiffness and upper back pain for quite sometime, so I had been on a pillow hunt. I'm a side sleeper, so I read up about this orthopedic pillow that work on side sleeper too. I was excited and it did deliver quickly. The pillow was soft and does mold to my neck. It feel comfortable when I'm awake and lying on it. But as the night goes, I felt trap on the pillow. It cradle my head too well, that I felt like I can't move much. Can't really sleep well on it. Pain didn't go away. Tried both sides of the pillow, still can't find comfortable position. I think for me the most difficult part is that I can't move much since the cradle of the pillow kind of keep you head in one spot. I tried using it for several night, but it didn't help. My neck was so stiff I went to chiropractor and he suggest I stop using it and go get a memory foam pillow instead. This pillow didn't cost my pain and neck stiffness, but it differently didn't help. I move a lot when I sleep, and it's hard to move with this pillow that kept keeping me head in the same spot. In the end, I just vacuum seal the pillow and store it away. Per my chiropractor there's no perfect pillow, everyone needs are different. This pillow doesn't work with me doesn't mean it's not good for you. It does feel comfortable and has good height and support. Just not for me.

This pillow feels very comfortable and supportive. I like the cool surface and ergonomic shape—it helps me feel relax through the night.

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.My wife has been complaining of neck and shoulder pain from sleeping without enough support. As a result I ordered this pillow to see if it would help. The pillow is supportive and does have some customization ability but my wife who is 5' tall and weighs in at 120lbs, just could not find a way to totally make this fit her smaller frame. I tried it and for my much larger 6'1", 250lbs size, it was quite supportive and comfortable. It just didn't quite work with her proportions. It's a good pillow and quite supportive, but it might not be the right choice if you are shorter/smaller than average.

Umm these worked great for the first two nights then became uncomfortable. They might work with other mattresses but since we have a memory foam the pillow just added a crick in my neck.

I’m so happy bought this pillow, its relief my neck pain because of my old pillow.It’s give me a lot of support, soft, and also the design helps keep my head, neck, and my shoulder properly aligned.I will recommended to family and friends.

I took some time before reviewing this item because as we all know, pillows can seem great at first and then end up not being right for our body or changing shape etc. This pillow has not changed shape or compressed, and I have been using it nightly for at least a month, maybe two. While a little strange to get used to at first, this pillow is comfortable for me and has helped some of my neck and shoulder issues. I am a side sleeper, and figuring out a comfortable pillow is always tough. I have not tried a cervical neck pillow before.I really like that you can spin it around it to have 2 different heights on it's surface, I've found the higher half works best for me (I have wider shoulders and as a side sleeper can't go too low). The ability to remove a layer is awesome - I wish more pillows had these kinds of adjustments. I don't need to remove mine, but it is a great feature.I don't notice it being cooling exactly, but it definitely doesn't get as warm as some of my other memory foam pillows do. There was some smell to the foam upon arrival, but this went away after a a bit (I left it out a few days to decompress from it's vacuum packing and to release the scent before using). I use a normal pillow case over it, which fits it fine.Overall this is a good pillow for side sleepers, but since it does angle your neck very specifically, it won't be for all people. You might experience some discomfort the first few nights until your neck adjusts (I did not, but I have with other pillows), but if it goes beyond that you might need to try something different.
