This thing is built VERY well, its kinda heavy but that means it does not have cheap parts in it. The sound the puts to my speakers/sub is INCREDIBLE, I had the Pyle 400 Watt marine amp and didn't like it, put this amp in and its NIGHT and DAY difference. Spend the extra bit of money and get this one. This amp is powering 2 Pyle 600 watt marine 6.5" speakers and a Pyle 400 watt 8' sub, the sub is bridged on the amp with channels 3 & 4 and sounds very good, the 6.5" are very loud. Would buy again.

I'm using this amplifier on a single 12" Rockville K9 DVC 2 ohm . It's pushes the sub rediculous loud. It's currently getting about 1135 RMS and I have gain only at 11 o'clock . Amplifier is compact, powerful and moisture and water resistant. The extruded aluminum case looks beautiful and adds a valued asthetic. Amp has 3 35a fuses so it does give plenty of power for a 12"x6.7"x2" footprint. High quality sound with separate input and output transistors Siemens audio correctors and an audio differential limiter which doesn't allow distortion. Well thought out and better quality components IMOHP. Will be ordering the RXD-F30 soon to round out the front stage.

This micro-amp does a VERY good job at producing loud, and clear sound! I hooked up the pair of speakers under the helm of my boat and boy, did the sound ever come to life. Much better sound than what I got from the amp this one replaced. Gain is set at half only. Channels 3/4 have their own crossover points (and gain). There is a switch for HPF (high pass filter) on channels 1/2 and both a HPF and LPF on channels 3/4. And from what I gathered, the PA Microphone only works on channels 3/4. I did get some interference from the speakers when I tried using the Microphone though. I am thoroughly impressed with the output from this amplifier. The instruction booklet that came with this amp is very lacking! No explanations on the LPF, HPF and crossover switches. It is pretty easy to figure out though. I am now in the process of ordering a set of wakeboard tower speakers that will run off channels 3/4. One more thing: When I hooked up my 6 1/2" separates to channels 3/4 AND switched to 12db BASS EQ, there was a substantial amount of distortion coming from my speakers. This makes me wonder how my set of 8" tower speakers will sound. Should be much better as they will handle way more bass than the 6.5" speakers! And still trying to figure out the LPF/FULL/HPF filter switch. LPF doesn't seem to work when channels 3/4 are hooked up only. Still some experimenting to do on my part to get the settings just right. But....I can say this amp does a solid job at sound reproduction, and it can make your speakers come to life!!! I was a skeptic (price point), but now I am a believer. I 100% recommend this amplifer to anyone looking to upgrade their marine stereo system.
