Great first gel
I decided to buy this after watching Gena Marie on YouTube. I understand why she loves it so much. This gel is moisturizing and it gives me the hold I want to keep my curls defined. The scent is nice and the texture of the gel is slippery. I like how easy it is to apply this on my hair.

I think I found my forever Curl Hold Product
,The humidity control is REAL. My curls get a hold, but they are not crunchy. I love how soft the curls are; even if I move my fingers through my roots for volume or move the hair around, it does not frizz out. It’s magic hahah. It gives me the perfect balance; not too heavy, good hold, no crunch, shine, and frizz control. My curl type is 3B.

Best gel for curlies and frizz control
This is the one if you're looking for frizz control. It's a bit expensive but it's the only one that works. I live on the Gulf Coast and it is crazy humid here. It only takes a little bit so it lasts a while and it's worth it. I put a small amount in my hands and a little bit of water and brush it through wet hair. It reactivates daily until I wash again.

Could Be Effective for Fine Hair
Tried 2 products from Ouidad, 1 from Ouai, one from Curlsmith for my wavy but fine hair. This was the best of the bunch in terms of providing hold, but still won't replace a more expensive independent brand (Bounce Better.) I actually need the "crunch" to provide structure, the Ouidad climate control was crunchy but after heat styling, did not hold as well as BB so I'm stuck with the more expensive brand I guess. Too bad, I wanted this to work; and maybe I'm judging it too harshly because summer humidity and my hairstyle are not compatible. I would not rule this product out if you need extra structure for your fine wavy hair.

The stickiest hair product invented.
Fast forwarding, it works (anti-frizz, handles humidity)--but OMG. I thought I'd lose my mind trying to get the loose hair off my hands! It also retains a little of the "wet look" when I was done diffusing it and combing it with my fingers. What a battle. I haven't yet tried to brush through my hair before shampooing it--so I wonder if I'll have any hair left on my head. This is a tough call. I think you have to decide for yourself: do I have enough patience to work with a product I know in advance is going to be a BIG challenge and stickier than instant glue? Good luck. P.S. If the curl needs a "refresh", just spritz it with a little water and quickly scrunch the sections that need more curl. It will reactivate the super-stickiness, though, too. Be quick.

Works great on natural curley hair
I really like this product. I have natural frizzy hair and it helps my frizz look curly. No actual scent , if applied in the right amount it feels good on hair.

Great non-crunchy gel
Used this alongside a cream and they worked beautifully together. Did not weigh my hair down and calmed down a lot of my frizz while away in a super humid environment, while not minimizing softness and volume! Great to use for updos too. Will buy again!!

Invest in this instead of the cheaper Twist line
This is a gel that does what it claims to do, provide hold, definition and mitigate the effect of the weather.Day 2-3 hair is still defined (with some natural frizz ofc but I don’t mind that), soft, shiny.I will remove one star because this is not the only gel out there that for me has given me the same results and those gels are a little bit more affordable.I have tried the Twist by Ouidad line because I wanted to get something affordable from such a well known brand for curly hair products but after trying those products (the curl gelee, the weather up lotion, the gentle oil shampoo) I can say don’t bother with anything from Ouidad that isnt their “high end” line. Instead I recommend opting for grocery store, pharmacy or if in the US places like TJ Maxx to find better, nourishing curly products.
