Very surprised at the quality of this for that price. It’s a real sword, and very sturdy, there’s no doubt in my mind that this can be used on an unlucky intruder to deadly effects. It’s weighty which just adds to its authenticity. Like I stated, this price for this sword is very unusual, it should have cost about 180-220 US dollar imo. Sure it’s not as flashy with colors or designs but that’s not why I bought it. It’s sharp for the most part, like used chef’s knife more so, you can trim a plan tree or severe a finger quite easily with this.

I love the Phoenix design. Heavier and better quality than than I excited. Very happy.

Some times you just have to face facts, attacking problems with a 41" forged katana is a great excuse to get outside and meet the neighbors. Pro's: Holds an edge well. Strong Metal. Only damage received on blade was from accidentally slicing through a quarter to half inch copper pipe. Con's: Blade tends to bend and loose shape, will appear warped after use until you straighten it back out

Beautiful sword craftsmanship seems pretty good could be sharper but if you came in contact with let's say a watermelon you would have no problem cutting through it if you're used to buying swords made of stainless steel don't expect the sword to be as shiny this is real steel which means you have to oil it to keep it from rusting all in all though for the price you got a well-built sword keep people from touching a blade it'll make it rust have fun be safe

I was heartbroken when they ran out of stock before I had the money to buy it but nevertheless I keep checking on it and to my delight they had it in stock for Christmas. I love everything about this sword from the hand painted sheath to the gold and silver Pheonix hand gard. It does have oil residue on the blade but I found a lint free cloth worked with blending it in and bringing out it's shine

the blade is cery loose in the hilt causing ratling when held. looks great but also in the sheith there is a wax coating the continues to get on the blade making it look grimy when taken out. craftmanship could use some work as far as the faults go. with the quality i received i wish we spent less on it than we did.
