This is a really cool post apocalyptic costume accessory. I haven't actually been able to get anybody to wear it so far, so maybe I will, lol. Of course the holes and distressing are very uniform but it still is decent quality. It's cotton, which is fabulous. Definitely recommend for your Ren faire or Halloween costume.

This is definitely a true shawl due to the length of over 6 feet, but it is quite thin, so you can twist it and wear it as a scarf, a sash, a belt or a head wrap as well, so it's pretty versatile. I got the green colored one and it looks exactly like the pictures.The metal brooch is a nice addition if you do wear it as a shawl, although it's not really necessary since the length will keep it wrapped securely around you. As a cosplay piece though, it adds to the effect. I can see using this for a number of different costumes or just as an everyday scarf. It reminds me of the scarves that wrap around your neck multiple times that I've seen people wearing in Europe. Very unique.

I cannot stress how much I loved this scarf. I bought it for a trip to the middle east and it did not dissapoint. I looked like Jesus in the flesh. The style is so beautiful, it looks wore out but great quality and soft. I loved it.

This is just a cloth. Nice looking material. Thin and breathable. But you could buy similar cloth for less at a fabric store. The pin is very nice.

I thought it was going to be more of a "hood" or something. It's just a scarf that's kind of 'ratted up'. Which isn't all bad. You can use it in different ways then. But I don't personally think it looks super dystopian feeling.

Fantastic for cosplay! It is well made and way better than some of the other options I have tried. I think it would work for many cosplays but I got mine specifically for my star wars outfit for May the 4th. It is soft and easy to style. I like the color, I know some complained that the coffee color was not dark, I actually like the tan-ish color you get. It works great!

As a pretty avid cosplayer, it never really hurts to get some things that work broadly, and I saw this and immediately thought of multiple potential fits for it. The two things that immediately came to mind were for Dune (which admittedly I didn't have an initial propensity for) or Assassin's Creed (which. . .totally down for). But even for a more general piece. . .it is genuinely really nice.Not overly hot or heavy, pretty soft, more than large enough to fit and have a solid wrap. . .and I like the clip. All in all, a really nice piece that was not overly expensive.
