A fun time with a way to vs a friend (Plus codes if you wanna try both decks digitally!)
When talking about how cheep this is, it's a great way for a pair of friends getting into magic to play for fun, especially with the two deck codes provided to give both decks to each redeemer to play on magic the gathering arena

Decent for the price
This a great starting point for learning the base game. It needs more cards to be able to play as a commander deck but it is a great start. It was new and has the potential to start 2 different decks.

Great set!
Great cards, I really like what they put in here, came with 2 codes to redeem the same decks in Magic the Gathering Arena. Arrived fast and in perfect shape! Now I'm off to buy more MTG Final Fantasy Booster packs

Pretty cool product. Some issues, see description
Very cool… hate that the price is going through the roof due to fake manufactured scarcity… but the product is fun and was in great condition… pretty decent little starter decks also… great for people just getting into the game! I’m giving this five stars because it wouldn’t be right to the seller for me to dock them for this… But I just wanna let people know. This product was supposed to cost $19.99. It did cost that for a while. Then, wizards of the coast did the same thing they did with the Lord of the rings and said that there was only going to be one print run of the product. This sent everyone into a buying frenzy and all of the prices for the product have gone through the roof.. coincidentally, wizards of the coast is selling their own product on Amazon, at this ridiculously inflated prices, purposely shipping local game stores less product that those stores ordered already… so that they can fulfill Amazon orders where customers have bought directly from them at escalated prices due to this “fake scarcity” and cut out the middle man entirely. This actually caused one of my local game stores to have to close down… they couldn’t get product until customers were no longer interested in it… and as many people know, wizards of the coast ended up printing more Lord of the rings product, and I’m sure they will end up printing more Final Fantasy as well… they may add a couple new art styles to the collector booster packs, they may take away the serialized cards, and give the new collector boosters some new type of name… But at the end of the day, they will release more. The reason why I’m telling everybody this is simple… These are really cool starter decks but they are not worth 40 or $50…. I think I paid 30 or 35 for this and I don’t really think it was worth that… My pre-order got canceled elsewhere and so I wasn’t able to get the product for the $20 I was supposed to get it at… that is not this seller’s fault. They had a right to charge more for it if they wanted, and they got the product out to me quickly. In fact, this seller got me the product faster than I had anticipated. But I just want to let everybody know… If you don’t find this product in the $20-$30 range… I would not buy it. $35 would be the absolute maximum I would pay and that is if you are a Final Fantasy nut like me… wizards of the coast will almost certainly print more and even if they don’t print any more of these starter decks, the price will eventually go back down once the hype has calmed down. The value is simply not there for this product. It’s definitely worth 20 or 30 bucks but that’s it.

Great crossover for fans and beginners, though not tournament-level
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Great crossover for fans and beginners, though not tournament-level I picked up the MTG x Final Fantasy Starter Kit to try out the new crossover and to have something fun to play with friends. It mostly delivers: the art, theme, and value are excellent. If you want a serious competitive deck, you’ll need to upgrade, but as a starting point and collectible, this is strong. ✅ Pros Fantastic theme & fan appeal: The Final Fantasy flavor is strong—iconic characters (Cloud vs. Sephiroth), art, and vibe are great. If you like FF, this feels like it was made for you. yeahnahgaming.co.nz +2 ONE Esports +2 Good beginner-friendly product: Everything you need to start playing is in the box: two 60-card decks, deck boxes, a play guide, tokens, and MTG Arena codes. Makes learning easier. Amazon +2 Card Game Base +2 Solid price: For what you get, the MSRP is very reasonable. Compared to booster packs or bundles, this feels like one of the best ways to get into the set without breaking the bank. Card Game Base +1 Quality cards & exclusivity: One of the decks includes a foil mythic rare legendary, and there are new cards exclusive to the set. Gives collectors something to care about. Amazon +2 Card Game Base +2 Balanced play: The two decks (Cloud’s deck & Sephiroth’s deck) offer different styles (one more aggressive/equipment-oriented; the other more controlling), which makes for interesting matchups and helps new players see different strategies. Card Game Base +1 ❌ Cons Not for high-level competitive play out of the box: The decks are fine for casual or introductory play, but they aren’t optimized for tournament usage. You’ll likely need to add better lands, removals, or other staples. Reddit +1 Limited durability of components: The included cardboard deck boxes are serviceable, but if you're going to sleeve cards or play often, they may not hold up long. Card Game Base Fixed contents: Since all starter kits are non-randomized, what you see is what you get. No chance for surprise pulls or chasing rares in that particular product. Card Game Base Demand / price surge: Due to popularity, prices are inflated in many places. If you find it for MSRP, great; over that, the value drops. Polygon +2 Reddit +2 🧾 Final Verdict If you’re a Final Fantasy fan curious about Magic: The Gathering, or a new player looking for an accessible entry, this Starter Kit is one of the best crossover/NFT-free starter products recently released. It's fun, thematic, and gives good value for casual play and collecting. Just don’t expect it to dominate in tournament play without upgrades.

Great for beginners, valuable for veterans
This starter kit includes two ready to play decks, including a mythic rare Sephiroth and Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. The decks themselves are great for beginners. The cards are varied and will teach a lot of the most common card types and keywords in Magic, but they are not nearly as complicated as the much more expensive Commander decks available in this set. They're also fun to play against each other because they are pretty well balanced, so even more advanced players will find something to enjoy here if they decide to keep the decks unmodified. Beyond that, the Starter Kit includes two codes that are each redeemable for both decks in Arena, the online version of Magic: The Gathering. That way you can give one code to a friend or family member, and both of you will have access to both decks online! This is one of the best value items available if you can find it at retail price ($19.99 USD).

Perfeito estado e no prazo. Bem lacrado. Confesso que fiquei apreensivo mas acho que vale a pena pra quem esta começando ou voltando ja que tem dois decks jogáveis. Ainda vem com os código para jogar no arena entao pra mim foi ótimo

Overall pretty great! Two prebuilt decks with very nice artwork and simple yet sturdy cardboard deck boxes, one card in each deck is a foil card. The instructions might not be the best for an absolute beginner as they gloss over and simplify some of the details, but overall, a good start for someone wanting to learn to play Magic.
