I received my rumble jar yesterday. Had my first cold brew this morning. The coffee was fantastic. The filter works much better than the french press I had been using which always results in grounds and sludge escaping.I do not use coarse grains as recommended- i always use Bustelo espresso- and the fine mesh did a fine job keeping the particles out.And since i remove the rumble filter- i can reuse it immediately to start my next batch.

Such a cool little cold brew maker that fits nicely in my fridge. It is a bit difficult to reach all of the grounds while cleaning the filter but maybe I am just too gentle as I'm afraid of crushing it. I definitely like stronger coffee so the extra strength amount of coffee was a must. Tried the normal amount and my cold brew came out a little weak after brewing for over 24 hours in the fridge. Overall great product if you're looking for an easy/convenient way to make coffee at home!

I love the bag that comes with it. It really makes a difference in the flavor. I ❤️ how easy the Rumble jar is to clean, the bag is also easy to clean. Best way to make my cold brew.

This is for the larger sized, 64oz Rumble Jar:RECIPE: I follow a recipe I found on the internet that calls for 1 part coffee to 4 parts water. That's 4 cups of water for every 1 cup of coffee grounds. After 1-2 days brew (I prefer 2 days) your coffee concentrate is ready. I put my concentrate into a 1.5 liter glass container, and add 6 more cups of water. I have found an old 1.5 liter Livingston wine jar works great :)VOLUME: There are 2 indicators on the steel mesh filter. The second one marks 1.5 cups of coffee grounds. This 64oz Rumble Jar is Perfect for using 1.5 cups of ground coffee of your choice, with 6 cups of water.JAR: I use a 64oz Wide Mouth Ball Mason Jar (I found mine for $6 in a store)FIT: The 64oz Rumble Jar fits perfectly in the 64oz Wide Mouth Ball Mason Jar. The orange silicone lid fits snug in the mouth of the jar, so no need to worry that the lid will come off as I give it a moderate shake here and there.ORVERALL: The Rumble Jar works exactly as described. I grind my coffee slightly more than 'coarse' so I do end up with some silt that settles at the bottom. It came in some nice packaging, and I only just now realized, while writing this review, that the mesh sock that the Rumble Jar comes with inside the box, is actually a secondary mesh filter. I have not used this yet, but I think it might even take care of that list bit of silt possibly. I am happy with my purchase, it seems to be strong, and long lasting.Happy Brewing!

I’d been making cold brew in half gallon mason jars for years, with a three-step straining process of spooning out grounds, then straining, then passing through a cloth reusable tea bag. All going into a second mason jar, of course, via a canning funnel. A bit of a hassle to do and clean up from. The Rumble Jar filter simplifies this even further. I do still use a canning funnel to get all the grounds in in the first place, but I just give that a quick rinse after. I have skipped the straining with the provided cloth bag because I find the very fine sediment that gets through settles into a good sludge at the bottom and doesn’t tend to get kicked up into the brew when I pour unless I’m pouring out every last drop.Cleaning the Rumble filter is a little awkward because you can’t flush it out with water as the water leaks right out, but it gets clean enough and I just wash more thoroughly with soap every 3-4 times I use it.The brew strength is somewhat weaker than what I was making before so I fill to the max line, leave at least 12 hours on the counter, and don’t dilute as much as I used to. Flavor that way is very good! I’m making cold brew a lot more often now that I have this! Paired with a milk frother and I’m in heaven with a cold brew topped with cold foam anytime I want.

I’m very pleased with the quality of the coffee, I only have two very minor complaints. The first one is my fault; I should’ve purchased the larger one because I really like cold brew. 😁 The second is that I have not found a good way to clean the filter, my bottle brush bristles get stuck in the little machined holes. So I need to find a different brush. Overall it’s a great little set up.

I am NOT a fan of Keurig coffee, and while traveling needed another way to drink my fresh ground beans & this makes a great cup of coffee! I cold brew it overnight & after straining it in the muslin bag (provided) I can enjoy over ice or warm it in the microwave if I want hot. I have the quart size, but I bought the half gallon size for my son-in-law and he said it made great coffee too. And he is a former batista, & loves coffee. Highly recommend!

I would like to have a jar that fits the filter.

The rumble jar is so quick and easy to use it should be used by anyone making cold brew coffee. The clean up is simple. It's one of the best products I have bought. I have had no need to use the cloth filter bag as the cold brew from the filter is perfect.Fill course grind coffee into the filter.( I like mine strong so I fill up to the 2nd mark and place in kilner jar. )Fill with bottled spring water then brew for 24hrs in the fridge or 12hrs on the counter. Easy as that.Buy it and you will not be disappointed.

Being recommended this product from a colleague I was uncertain of how successful it would have been, alas I pleased to report i LOVE the product and would be again as a gift for my coffee loving friends.
