This is not Gel polish
For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out how to use stamping plates at first. That’s definitely on me though because there is a bit of a learning curve. It took me watching what felt like 20 tutorials before things started to click. I’m still not perfect at it, but I can honestly say I’m getting better with practice, and the results are starting to look a lot cleaner. As for the polish itself, I was really impressed. It is extremely pigmented, which makes a huge difference when stamping because the designs actually show up bold and crisp instead of patchy or faded. This is not gel polish, so there is no need for a lamp or curing. You just apply it, give it a little time to air dry, and you are good to go. If you want extra shine or longer wear, you can always add a top coat at the end, but it is not required. The bottles are on the smaller side, but for the price and the variety of colors you get, it feels like a really good deal. A little goes a long way, especially with stamping, so I do not see myself running out quickly. Between the quality, pigmentation, and value, I would say this set is worth it, especially if you are willing to put in a little time to learn the technique.

I've used Born Pretty Stamping Polishes exclusively....
And I can assure you, if you have the right technique, you'll never smear or smudge your image. My technique is simple. First and foremost, shake the bottle. This polish is heavily pigmented and it can settle after a while, so shake it well. Stamp your image onto your nail, do five nails at a time, that gives the stamping polish time to dry since it's such a thin coat. Once all five nails are done, go back to the first nail you stamped, take your top coat brush and ROLL the top coat over the image. I don't swipe one side or the other of the brush, I literally dip it into the top coat, pull it out and allow a large drop to land on my nail. You should only apply the top coat in 3 to 4 swipes of the brush, but the brush should NEVER touch the image. If you touch the brush to the image, I guarantee you'll smear or smudge your image. I have well over 20 bottles of Born Pretty stamping polish, none of them have ever smudged or smeared because of the way I do it. Most, if not all, fast drying top coats are self-leveling, so if it's not perfect, keep an eye on it and see if it levels out. I use strictly Seche Vite fast drying gel effects top coat when I stamp, the images always come out crisp, clean and clear. All of the colors, with the exception of the blue, came out nicely on black polish. You could use the white polish first to stamp the image, top coat, then apply the image again with blue and it should come out cleaner, I haven't had the chance to experiment with that yet. This is a great set of polishes, I love all the colors and having a hard time deciding what I want to stamp.

just don't.
I wanted to try stamping polish instead of the tubes of stamping gel I've been using. I'm really sorry I tried these. as several others have noted, * THEY'RE THIN. the polish is too thin for stamping. * THEY DON'T TRANSFER. the polish just stays on the stamp or only transfers part of the image. * NON-OPAQUE COLOR. if you're hoping to get a nice contrast, don't. black, white, and silver are opaque. the rest will let the base color show through. * THEY DRY FAST. if you need to sneeze between applying to the stamp and picking it up, it's too late. here's hoping you applied enough to get the whole design in one swipe; by two swipes, part of your design is dry. if you luck out and get your entire design on the stamper and are trying to re-stamp a design because you realized the base color was showing through, by the time you align the design,..it's dry on your stamper. have fun. * NON-HYPOALLERGENIC. ...which it turns out, was a huge problem. I broke out in cracked, itchy rash on all my fingers. I clawed it off my nails and still was red and swollen for several days. overall, these are a mess. they don't perform and I personally reacted to them. skip several steps and get the stamping gel that comes in tubes. it stays wet long enough to work with, it's opaque, cheap, and does what it's supposed to. these...just don't.

Very good easy to use great colors
Very good stamping polishes. They don’t need to be cured under the light. They fast dry die easy pick up and put down for good easy nail art. Can be used with any stamping pallet. I haven’t been able to get the neon to look good on black bases yet but I know I’ll figure it out.

Fun to try
I tried stamping, and I'm a newbie. Its a learning curve, beautiful colors. Tried some seems to stamp great, then others. That can be due to what base color you are using. Easy to use

Sheer Pigmentation!
Updated!: I have tried working with these more since they live here now. They do pick up pretty good most of the time (read that again) but they are not pigmented enough to use on any share base you want to.I PERSONALLY tried red on purple (invisible) and yellow on red (food you adjust guess??? Well it was Invisible!) Buyer beware these are non-returnable!! So I'm sitting here with these polishes you can see straight through! The black is the only color worth using and even it isn't very quick drying. So many people carry on and on about these being sooooo good. They've been bought by the company to say that. I did 2 coats of the orange and it did better but it has streaks still. The black stamp I used was an "oil slick" type image so that's not ALL a miss but it still didn't pick up great. I mean, it's your money, spend it how you want to but Maniology ships free over $59 & they have way more color variety.

Good quality!
Need to know, how to use. I like it. Can’t say it super pigmented, but works well for such price.

Worked perfectly
This is the only polish I’ve used where I’ve actually managed to successfully stamp. Doesn’t dry too quickly, doesn’t need uv and is great coverage. Colours are also really vibrant and opaque. Perfect.
