shelf was really easy to build and is very sturdy, its pretty big and it looks great with my room. i think it was worth the money because i love it, it holds alot of things, screws are easy and the instructions are very clear. you can put anything on it and it would hold!

Lovely bookcase great value and easy to put together

I needed a small bookcase at a similar height to my office desk to extend the work surface around me (creating a sort of L-shaped area) and provide storage underneath. At 75cm high, this little bookcase does the job perfectly and fits in fine in my home office. Everything was packed safely in the box, with protection between each item and all items are clearly labelled. This makes assembly straight-forward, although worth carefully looking at the diagrams before committing to ensure you've included all the bits (I missed the metal 'F' retainers on the back initially). Care should be taken when positioning the nails on the rear panels as I can see how these would split the wood if off-center of the wood underneath- and don't use power tools on the screws for the same reason. But I didn't have any problems and the back being in three pieces means that there are no joins visible from the front. Many people said the stickers don't match, but for the oak style, they are brilliant - you can see them only if you look carefully and at a casual glance are completely invisible and hide the screws very effectively. Overally, considering the low price, these are a very solid set of shelves which do the job great, assemble easily and match up to the measurements shown. I would be happy buying another one if needed for a similar purpose.

I bought this to use in my bathroom, because the only place I have to put a storage unit is on top of the waste pipe boxing, which is just too narrow to put most of the freestanding bathroom cupboards I was looking at. So I opted for this, with some little storage baskets to hold my products/toiletries. It was pretty easy to assemble. I'm disabled & managed to put it together by myself, every though it says 2 people are required. The instructions are very easy to understand. All the parts of the wood are labelled, as are the screws. It comes with little anchor straps to fix it to the wall. I've fitted the straps to the unit, but I haven't fixed it to the wall. I don't have kids or pets that will try to climb it & I feel it's sturdy enough without being anchored to the wall. The shelves are FIXED. You can't change their position, if you need more height. But for the purpose I'm using it for, I don't need adjustable shelves, as tall products can just stand on the top. I'm very happy with my purchase. It really changed the look in my bathroom (I had wonky, dark plastic drawers before, which looked terrible). For the first few days, I kept going into my bathroom to admire my handiwork. :D Definitely recommend. Although I don't know how it would perform as an actual bookcase, with all that weight on it, but as bathroom shelving, it works really well.

The package weights 9 Kg. Easy to assemble. Sturdy. However if you are a collector of normal sized hardback books you will find that the space between the fixed shelves is not big enough to stand them on end. You can if you wish lay them flat. Normal sized paperbacks can be stood on their ends.

I bought two of these and am currently using both of them. Pros: *Shelves and sides are sturdy with a nice finish. *Putting most of it together is easy. *Stickers to cover screw holes are a very good idea. *Have a lot of space. Cons: *Backboards were all cut unevenly for both of them which is a major issue both because parts overhang the sides, but it then makes it difficult to put on every other board. I feel like it started well then cheaped out with the back. A back you screw in would be significantly better than this. The back is in five pieces you have to nail on and one you screw the wall attachments to. Much of it isn't noticeable from afar if nails go through or the back is uneven, but it was still quite annoying putting it together and trying as much as possible not to randomly pierce the backboards. *A couple of shelves were chipped a little, I just put the undamaged side facing up as it doesn't strongly matter to me. Over all I'm giving it 3 stars. They are okay, usable, and aesthetically very nice, easily hiding much of the visual flaws, but whatever or whoever is cutting the backboards is not cutting them evenly or straight which really is a significant problem and frustrating when putting it together, some shelves were minimally damaged, and they're really not worth the full price, the quality checks that should be there for the full price just aren't. If you don't care much and just want some shelves, then this is fine, it's just not quality checked as much as it should be.

A pretty decent little bookcase, especially for the price, and the oak effect finish is better than I expected at this level. However, it is actually nearly 76.5cm tall, not the 75cm specified. I know it says "approximate measurements", but the reason it's over-spec is because the side pieces are exactly 75cm tall, so putting the top on makes it taller by the thickness of the top part, which is not just a case of approximate measurements/tolerances. This might not seem like much but if you are putting it alongside something that is actually 75cm tall and expecting it to be fairly flush, it is notably taller. Otherwise, good value.

A lovely book case with more than enough room. I have many sewing and quilting books and all fit on only three shelves of the five.
