They do not need a partner. They do take an entire season (I’m in Ohio) for the lemons to turn yellow. Be patient! They look like limes for MONTHS!! **Q: What Temperatures Can It Handle?** A: Indoors or greenhouse below 65 F or 17 C. Outdoors above that. Bring in a month before heating goes on in your house to give it a chance to acclimate. Put it in the brightest coolest window over winter. If you don’t get winter I assume it can live outdoors all year around. **Q: Will this tree grow in Alabama?? I just love making fresh lemonade!** A: I am in Ohio - we have seasons (cold ones!!)
