Usual impressive Worx standard
Another amazing Worx product. This cuts through anything, even makes short work of medium sized branches! Easy to use, great battery life and good cutting power. Couldn't be happier.

Not too heavy and cuts well.
As soon as the batteries were fully charged I cut ther hedge in the front garden. It was a real pleasure not having to worry about cutting through any cables as with my last electric hedge trimmer. Once the hedge was trimmed in record time I went around the back of the house and shaped a tree that had been bugging me for months. Both jobs finished and life left in the batteries. used it a few times now and still pleased with the results.

It's a beast
It is a big machine but does the job well. Comes with everything you need (batteries and charger) which also supplements my existing worx tools. Make easy work.of cutting the hedge, although continous working can make your arms and shoulder ache because of the size. On the plus side the long reach makes it a quicker job.

If you are worried about Power or Runtime don't be. This tool has both covered!
I’ve previously avoided electric garden tools as assumed they’d be under-powered and have poor runtime. However I was getting fed up with the maintenance aspect of keeping my petrol hedge trimmer running. I've got a thick 2.5m high 60m long hedge so wanted something reasonably pokey that lasted a decent amount of time. I already owned a couple of small Worx battery powered tools, drill and circular saw which I am very impressed with. As my drill came with 2, 20v 4.0ah batteries (at less than the price of the two batteries alone) thought I’d take the plunge and go for the 40v hedge trimmer. It arrived the next day despite warnings about Covid delays (thanks Amazon). It took less than 5 mins to attach guard and handle, plugged in the aforementioned batteries and wey-hey what a tool. It’s way more powerful than I expected easily slicing through the thicker core hedge branches. As for battery life all I can say is awesome. I really went to town on the hedge cutting it further back than I’ve ever done. Partly because it needed it and partly because the tool is so easy to use. When I’d finished around 2.5 hours later I still had 2 lights left on the power meter which has 5 lights in total. Obviously I didn’t have my hand on the trigger for the whole 2.5 hours but before starting I was expecting to have to take a break for a battery recharge. So when I completed the task with charge to spare I was ecstatic. It’s really changed my opinion on battery tools. I was so impressed I’m about to get rid of the petrol chainsaw again because of the ongoing servicing issues required to keep it running effectively. Once I’ve saved up the necessary I’ll be going for the Worx WG384.

No need to hedge your bets, this is good
I was unsure if a battery operated Hedge Trimmer would really be up to the task. However I read a few reviews, watched a few videos on YouTube and pulled the trigger on this as I already had a few Worx tools and 6 batteries. (I ordered the body only trimmer).I can't comment on the single battery trimmer, but this double battery model actually surprised me. It cut a lot better than I expected, and cut every bit as good as my old mains powered trimmer. Now I generally only trim my hedge two or three times a year, and my hedge is around half the border of a 1,300 square foot garden, so for me I think it'll do the job for years. I've only used it twice and both times the batteries managed constant use for 20+ minutes.Build quality is decent and its really easy to use, but it does start to feel a bit heavy near the end of doing the hedge.Worth it if you've already got a few worx tools and a collection of batteries.

Superb
Excellent, long reach with plenty of power ,and decent battery run time, I hesitated in favour of the single battery machine at first as it was cheaper but the reviews convinced me the 40volt was the one to have if you have a garden full of privet and shrubbs, ordered bare unit as already have worx drill and grinder battery's and charger so it worked out a bit cheaper, it can get a bit heavy while using but I just stop for a rest now and again, to finish, highly recommended, as worx power tools are well made and reliable and worth the extra you pay for them, no regrets whatsoever from me in purchasing this hedgecutter.

No longer need to worry about leads
Impressive for a battery operated hedge trimmer, made light work of my mums 9 foot high 25 foot hedge and some shrubs with still showing 3 bars of power left.Next day spent 5 hours in our own garden cutting back some rather large shrubs and it managed these with ease, again still showing power left, of I didn't use it for 5 hours flat but still impressive.Personally I found the weight ok, not light but still manageable with the two small 2ah batteries but if you put the 4ah batteries in then it starts to become a bit cumbersome but does give it more bite.

Good elextric hedge cutter
Easy to set up, found it light weight as used 2 stroke petrol hedge cutters many times before. Found it worked well on fresh growth and less than 16mm stems, would struggle on more woodier stems. The battery life was really good after an hours use.. bought some spare (non worx branded) batteries as well. Have a small garden so it will do the job pruning things once or twice a year. Would recommend.
