I paid for the white glove service, so I had no assembling to do. The chair arrives in a very big box. It seemed there was just minium assembly for the delivery men to do after unpacking. Having said that, the delivery man who did the assembling had been doing it for years, so he knew what to do. However, he did mention the chairs used to require more assembling than the newer ones now do. I hope this helps.

Is the massage just in the seat or thru out the back also ?

The massage and heat are in the back.

what does dual power mean?

As far as I can tell it means there are two.motors, one to tilt the chair back and one to extend the leg rest.

How is the chair for reading?

The chair works fine for reading or watching TV in the upright position.
