As everyone else with the NES Classic Edition knows, the controller that comes with it has an extremely short cord, so unless you plan to have the system itself close to you as you play it, you will struggle with the controller's short cord. The best solution is finding an extender so you can play the system from a more comfortable distance, so that's what I did, and I stumbled upon this one. The main difference with this extender as opposed to other ones is that the wire is MUCH longer than other available extenders, so even if you already play really far from your TV, this extender will be very useful for you. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I have not encountered any problems with it. The NES Classic Edition controller fits in this extender's port with no problem and the extender itself fits in the controller port on the actual system with no issues either. The price of this extender is also very fair, it's even cheaper than some extenders with a shorter distance than this one. If you are looking for a good quality extender for your NES Classic Edition controller, you can't go wrong with this one.

Bought these extension cords not realizing we only had one control. After a few months of use I can say confidently that they work as they should. Easy to use and long enough for our needs. Great product. The vendor seems to really care for how their product works, as they have contacted me a few times (by email and regular mail). I just recently received a letter from them with info on who to contact if there is a problem, which is not usual for a company. I buy many things in Amazon but never have I received a letter months after to just check on how my product is still holding up. Pretty cool I thought. So, I would definitely recommend this product based on my use and also due to the care from the company.

Is there any reason you need to play 12 feet away? That doesn’t matter, because you no longer have to play from 2 feet away. You can sit anywhere in the room. I read some stories about extensions not working right and was worried about it. These extensions work perfectly and are an excellent value because you get 2, and they work for both the NES and SNES classic consoles. (Tested on both, and both work flawlessly) I also picked up a second controller for the NES classic, and I did get the official controller that works. It also works with these extensions. You can’t go wrong here.

These worked great. I was basically sitting next to my TV to play, which hurt my eyes. These extensions allowed me to play from my couch which is about 8 ft from my television. Worked like a charm. What was most impressive was the customer service follow up. They sent a very thoughtful mailed letter with a bookmark making sure the product matched my expectations. Very rare these days.. shouldn't go without saying. Excellent customer service!

This product was a great purchase as the controller that came with the mini Nintendo has such a short cord. Now I can sit on my couch and relax and play!

Received them, plugged them in, working great. I was worried about possible lag or other issues due to the length on the cords. I have noticed none other than the cord can twist slightly twist up like an improperly wrapped extension cord does but that has been minor and it's great to be able to play the NES Classic with friends and family while sitting on the couch from across the room. Definitely worth the purchase!

It's been years since I've sat on the floor playing Nintendo staring up at the TV, but with my recent purchases of the NES Classic and SNES classic, I found myself once again reliving my childhood doing just that. The cords for the controllers, especially the NES are short and I'm too old to stare up for long periods of time without getting a crick in my neck. Enter these perfect little adaptors and we can sit on our couch again while we play. We haven't had them for long, but so far both of them work perfectly with our NES and SNES Classics.

The cords that came with our NES classic console we're super short... These cords work great. Very easy to use just plug and play 🙂 The distributor also took the time to write a letter and send a cute little bookmark just to make sure I was happy with my product. It's always nice to get a little surprise in the mail!!
